A beautiful discovery of Fado in a very appreciable intimate atmosphere.
The explanations about the origin of singing and its evolution were very rewarding. The Audio Guide worked very well.

We were not expecting to have such an amazing night, we wandered in because we were hungry & I liked the look of it.
It’s a beautiful space…a bit brighter than it needs to be but a lovely restaurant with a fabulous menu.
Fado will be starting soon ( we had no idea what Fado was) so we smiled & sat at the table. He moved the cutlery & said no no beside each other! So there we were, sitting side by side which was weird but we were hungry so 🤷🏼.
Ordered salmon & Seabass with a beautiful bottle of wine & the music began.
This place is an experience you do not want to miss in Porto.
The music was amazing we had such a fantastic night of great music wonderful food & beautiful Portuguese wine.
Turns out he put us side by side so we could have a great view & be in the middle of the action.

A nice way to get some background on Fado and the instruments associated with it. Nice small venue with good sound. Excellent musicians!

Wow. This was an incredible experience! You receive a warm welcome at the door and are seated in an intimate venue with a complimentary glass of port. You watch intermittent clips of a short documentary interviewing Fado singers and guitar makers who provide a little history about Fado for those who have never heard much about it before. Between these clips, local singers and guitar players sing incredible Fado songs that are so moving. It lasts just under an hour and then you’re on your way. It was really wonderful and would highly recommend!

Overall it was a good experience and worth the price of entry which was not that much. It should be seen if you've not done this before.

Beautiful educational experience.
The video with the history of Fado with its authentic saudade , the beautiful voices , explained live in 4 languages.
And of course the delicious porto!

A superb concert. Two men playing the musical instruments. One young lady singer with a fantastic voice. A male singer who also did the front of house. The venue was small and compact. There were projected pieces of information about the history of Fado music. In all a great hour of music with a glass of port to complete the experience.
