Whatever I say is a little!!!
Great space and atmosphere with nice views.
A bit expensive the canteen but reasonable
It requires a lot of walking and climbing for this wear nice shoes and I would prefer the brightness and the sound to be more intense i.e. we heard the music from the taverns round about the movie.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Athens if you are looking for a unique evening activity. We booked the 22:00 screening so that we could eat first, and it fitted in well with our evening, as it is in a great, central location.
Smoking was not an issue, few people actually did smoke. The bigger issue for me was the sound. The speakers were too quiet to compensate for the loud eating noises in the audience. I am sensitive to these things, and i found it very disruptive. This wont bother everyone, but it is something to bear in mind. The chairs are also rather uncomfortable for a long time sitting, but not too bad. For this reason, though I am glad to have experienced it, I would not book again.

What a great way to spend a warm summers evening in Athens.
The setting is beautiful, underneath the Acropolis and set on a lovely rooftop.
Everything is really laid out well, the chairs are comfortable and the food and drink is very reasonably priced.
And the movie was great too.
Fantastic way to spend our last night in Athens.

Took my daughters to see Downton Abbey and we couldn’t quite believe that to the right of us was the Acropolis at night. Tickets only 6 Euro on a Tuesday night

The outdoor experience was ruined as outdoors in Greece means everyone smokes - relentlessly! It was frankly quite gross and spoiled the experience. Smokers will love it, others will not.

Lovely alternative way to spend an evening in Athens. I love cinema and coming from Scotland I never take advantage of open air cinemas since it’s so cold. We decided to see Quentin Tarantino‘ new film ‘Once upon a time in Hollywood’ at Cine Paris. It was in English with Greek subtitles, the view was stunning, sitting so close to the lit up Acropolis. Clear, warm night with a bar for food and drink.
I would recommend buying tickets a 2-3 hours before the film to make sure you get a seat. The box office was open at 7pm when we walked past. Only issue was that people smoke a lot, you may spend the duration passively smoking but it’s to be expected so can’t complain really.

Great place to watch a movie while being next to the Parthenon. I would recommend going 1 hour prior to the movie so that you can select a good spot. You can also have alcohol while watching the movie. The only downside is the fact that people can smoke so if you are unfortunate enough and you have one smoker next to you, you will bot be able to endulge the experience so much.

I have been reading more and more about crime and 'strikes' in Athens and im worrying myself stupid really because i know it will probably be no worse than any where else in Europe. All the same, this hotel is very close to Syntagma square, if the worst was to happen is this hotel a safe place to be? Also are there safety deposit boxes in the rooms and is there a charge to use these?
