My husband and I took a tour a couple of days ago with Fotis and guide Anna from Piraeus cruise port to see the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio. This was our second tour with Fotis. He did such a great job the first time in Athens 10 years ago that we had to hire him again. He greeted us like family and we were treated like that. This is a great tour company. Of note: I had reached out a year ago for a tour but at the time it appeared a ship’s excursion would suit us better. However when the ship canceled that excursion only a few weeks before the port day, we reached out to Fotis and Maria (who runs the company now). Even though it was last minute, they were able to accommodate us. Prompt communication, friendly and ultra-competent service. A pleasure!!

Fotis was AMAZING! My husband and I and my cousins and their spouses had a grand day with Fotis in Athens. He picked us up at our cruise ships location and started his introduction to the great city of Athens immediately. He was extremely informative and very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING Athens. Fotis shared his favorite lunch spot with us which was amazing. He provided us insight, background and suggestions which aided us in having a memorable and full day in Athens. I left that wonderful city with a much better understanding of its history. Fotis is so personable and really cares for the well-being of each of his tour members. My husband fell ill during our tour and Fotis personally helped him return to the cruise ship promptly so that he could obtain medical assistance. Above and beyond….

Fotis was an amazing guide for Athens; I’m so delighted to give him a 5 star review. Fotis thoroughly enjoyed sharing his vast knowledge of Athens with us. He met us at our cruise port, so convenient for us. His English is excellent and his van was impeccably clean and spacious for our group of 6 people. He had a genuine care for me and my family. His insight of all the historic sites throughout our day together was wonderful. Fotis suggested an authentic Greek lunch spot that we would never had found on our own, it was delicious. Highly recommend Fotis Kollinis and his daughter Maria for any Athens excursions.

Our time on this tour was the highlight of our time in Athens.
We were fortunate to tour with Fotis himself, and we felt honored. He exudes warmth, knowledge, and a servant's heart. We could see that it was truly his pleasure to serve us and spend the day with us. He really went above and beyond all expectations. We were able to see so much of the city and in an efficient way. He took us to a little local lunch place, and it was the best food of the whole trip; we never would have found it on our own. In the end, we made a friend and happened to tour a city while doing so.

Fotis was recomended to us by our Australian friends and he didnt disapoint.
He showed us Athens with the most visited attractions but also took us to some local
hidden treasures.As Fotis often said come as a visitor leave as a friend.

Our second time using Athens Private Tour and seeing our guide Foti again was like seeing family!! After canceling our flight from Milos to Athens, we needed to book a very last minute transfer from Piraeus to our hotel in Athens. I emailed Maria on their website and she quickly answered back that she was able to help us!
As we walked off the ferry (45 minutes late), there was Foti greeting us with a big smile and charming personality! I introduced him to my daughter as we walked over to his beautiful Mercedes van. We chatted and talked family all the way to our hotel!
The next day Foti was already prebooked to pick my son, nephew and their girlfriends off their cruise to see all the sites in Athens. He was at the port to greet them, stopped for coffee and pastries, and away they went! They had an awesome informative day driving around Athens seeing all its historic sites. Hearing we were looking for a rooftop restaurant, Foti called his friends restaurant in the Plaka where the 8 of us
had a wonderful meal overlooking the city.
The next morning Foti arrived to take 4 of us to the airport. Midway he stopped for coffee and came back to the car with bougatsa for my daughter to have on the plane. So thoughtful! We said our goodbyes... till the next time we visit!
I highly recommend Athens Private Tours. They are highly knowledgable of the history of the city, their air conditioned vans are beautiful, they respond back to emails quickly, and their warm personalities make you feel like family!

The tour with Fotis and Athens Tours was remarkable. He was so welcoming, and knowledgeable. He made the experience fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend Athens Tours...you will enjoy everything about the experience.
I will add that Maria ensured every detail was scheduled and communicated efficiently with me about the tour...everything went as planned.

Fotis is the nicest guy and very knowledgeable of all things Greece! Fotis knew all the good places to take us and shared plenty of helpful information for other places we planned to see later on our trip. We feel like we have a Greek Family Member now!

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful and kind Fotis was to my husband and I on our trip to Athens! Fotis was extremely sweet, helpful, and informative during our time spent with him! He always looked out for us and knew all of best locations to visit in Athens. We will absolutely be taking another tour with Fotis the next time we visit Athens!
