I already knew this bar when it was still called Georges, the renovation is very nice, the view is still beautiful.
A little sadness not to find the guest books of Georges, I would have liked to find the message left a few years ago with my dad.
The prettiest view of the city, you can go there with your eyes closed.

Highest panoramic view of Agios Nikolaos in terms of coffee or restaurant , whatever you like. Natural shadow by the trees.
Our waitress was Danae. Very attentive and polite.
Big man Xristos in the bar knew me from online streaming and met him randomly in Crete after he recognised me from streaming, although I do live in the UK.
Food, coffee were excellent.
Bravo paidia gia ola. Respect Rangaros 🫡

We found this place on Trip Advisor. It’s a fairly steep walk a little off the beaten track, but for us that was part of the fun of finding this place. The bar is air conditioned so you can cool off when you get there, but the best seats are on the balcony. We had a Tommys Margarita and a Cretan Fizz,… both really well made. You get a bottle of water and fresh fruit snack with your cocktails, and that combined with the absolutely amazing views make this the best place to go and get your holiday cocktails!

We stopped in for a drink whilst on walk of the area. Upon arrival we received water, the young girl that served us was very nice and polite. The food looked great so we went back another time for late lunch. Club sandwich & Smash burger, both lovely and good value. Service again was great. Lovely view of the Lake

The best place to enjoy the view of the lake of Agios Nikolaos.

ARC Cocktail bar is at the top of the cliff with tables overlooking the inner harbour of Agios Nikolaos. It is well worth the steep climb. Superb view of the town from this height whether by day or at night when the lights around the harbour reflect into the water.
Friendly happy service providing a good range of food and drinks freshly and very quickly prepared from the small kitchen across the road.

Very nice view of the city, but very expensive for what you get. 2/3 of the small glass consisted of a huge ice cube - and the drink was a lot more expensive than we had previously seen online. We wouldn't come back.

Great spot above the lake. Beautiful fresh lemonade with ginger syrup. What impressed me about this little spot was the hospitality & service. A bottle of water was served without us having to request it, & they served a delicious, moist chocolate chip cake complimentary. Both the lemonade & cake are made on premises.

Absolutely breathtaking view, creating a perfect backdrop for a comfortable stay. The coffee served here is truly amazing, and the local wine selection adds a delightful touch. However, the real showstopper is the breakfast pancake with chocolate

It’s about a 15 minute walk. Chez George’s is ‘above’ the lake, at the top of the cliff. Great views and worth a visit. Taxis are quite reasonable so would suggest getting one at least the first time, then you can decide for future visits.
