Put simply, this was a wonderful experience, worth the price of admission. We were looking for an activity that would get us out of the heat and were pleasantly surprised. The class, about 5 hours, involved an informal but well-organized introduction to the basics of cooking and greek cusine. We were picked up at our hotel and transported to a modest farmhouse setting with a courtyard patio and kitchen. The dishes we helped prepare were spanikopita, stuffed tomatoes, and tzatziki. Other dishes, an appetizer, orzo with meat dish, and dessert, were prepared by the staff. Everything was fresh and tasty, and there was plenty of local wine provided throughout, possibly too much. Overall, it had the feel of cooking with family/friends. Perfect for singles, couples, and small groups. We booked directly through the Mykonian Spiti website. I did have to email the morning of to find out the pickup time but otherwise everything went smoothly.
