The horse riding experience itself was fine but:
1) We got a bundle of 4 lessons for a better price. But each of the 30-minute lessons actually lasted between 20-25 minutes. For the last one we got at the club delayed due to traffic issues but the owner stopped the lesson at 20 minutes with the excuse that the next customers (who were our friends and of course did not have any problem) would be delayed. When I told her that they don't have a problem with that she gave me the excuse that her students (who play the role of the teachers of the customers) would be delayed in their horse riding lessons after ours. Totally unprofessional behavior.
2) The club itself is not in a good shape and not maintained at all. The lounge / bar is constantly closed and a customer cannot have any beverages at all. The wooden fence of the riding space is abandoned and dangerous. It seems that the owner runs the club alone with the help of her students only.
3) There is very limited parking space outside of the club on a very narrow road.

Amazing unique experiences on offer. I had the pleasure of a lesson with Anastasia followed by a ride out through the local village. Lovely clean facilities. quality horses and friendly staff.
Later in the week I brought my friend and surprised them with an early morning swim with the horses in the sea. Well organised and the horses are really well looked after!

People generally come to the Cyclades for the beaches, the delicious greek food, the gorgeous choras and the beautiful sunsets and to Syros particulary for the unique buildings color combo, the special nature of Ermoupoli & its incredible views and the amazing selection of restaurants/cafes.. I would have never thought of a horse riding experience in Syros that would top all of the above .. Everything about the Equestrian club exceeded my expectation, the handsome & healthy horses, the exciting & scenic riding trails, riding in the sea "a first for me" was magical, clubs proximity to Ermoupoli which makes it very convenient to get to and there is not enough things to say about the owner Anastasia who is keen to give out a memorable experience and ensure her clients are looked after that you will probably walk out of there with a friend and a place to keep coming back to.
Highly recommended!

Even though it is slightly off the beaten track, finding your way to the Equestrian Club of Cyclades is quite easy. Only about 5 drive from downtown Syros. While on this holiday I was finally able to check off a lifelong dream of riding a horse. I was a bit nervous at first but after seeing the other children and adults practicing and training I knew I could handle it. Anastasia the owner/trainer gently guided me through my beginning steps. Anastasia and her volunteers are quite knowledgeable. This can be noticed when you enter the clubhouse and see the string of award ribbons and the trophy case. After a couple of minutes of practicing we were on a lovely ride through the streets of a quaint and beautiful local village. After the first ride I decided to book another trip at the riding club. This time she put a couple of horses on a trailer and we went to swim with the horses in the clear blue Aegean Sea. It was truly a happy and unforgettable moment that left me with a tinge of fleeting guilt because my children were not there.
The Equestrian Club of Cycladesis on a beautiful property. It contains two riding arenas, open air stables for all the pretty horses and ponies and a wonderful clubhouse in traditional Cycladic style with the exception of the large Vista Windows. At this time during the slow season the clubhouse was temporarily used for storage while renovations were happening below. The clubhouse itself contains a bar beautiful custom-made lounge area with sunken living room and probably the only public space with a fireplace. I could see how this place can be quite popular during the cooler winter months. One of the great things about the clubhouse is that it can be used as a wine and beer garden art gallery or event space for your gatherings. It's definitely a place where I would love to hold a party when I return, and I do plan on returning with my children.
If you do have a chance to visit this beautiful Island, I definitely recommend a trip to the Equestrian Club of the Cyclades. It is definitely worthwhile and something special to do that is far from the norm. From beginning to expert they have a horse or pony just for you.

Απίστευτη εμπειρία για μικρούς κ μεγάλους.
Όμορφα πρόσωπα πολύ καλός κόσμος.
Μεγάλα κ ήρεμα άλογα για όλα τα γούστα.

We operate horse riding tours in the neighboring island of Mykonos, and for the first time recently experienced a trail ride with the Equestrian Club in Syros. The horses were wonderful, and the entire experience very enjoyable, with a lovely scenic route through the fields and hills of Syros. We know the owner Sasa who has been coming to our riding center for a few years offering riding instruction to the local children, and she is an excellent and patient teacher, dedicated to the horses, and to ensuring her clients are all well looked after. We can't recommend this experience enough for people looking for something a little different to do in Syros.

Had an absolute amazing time there, you can see that for the owner the animals are like a family and the animals are happy with her and the place is so well maintained. It is also easily approachable. Best thing about syros was this horse riding experience.

It was indeed a great experience but unfortunately the country isn't very interesting or beautiful. But the teacher was great and did a very good job, also very friendly. The price (45€ per hour) is very high, maybe worth do try it once but if you are interested in seeing the landscape I would not recommend. Besides litter there is not much to see.
