We also rented a car - not sure we saw any public transport - there were a number of tour buses. Remember ancient city of Corinth is quite a way from modern city. There are taxis available.

A couple of answers below a person and given you the correct answer. When in Ancient Korinth, just walk to the top of the drive, the store is the last on your right. The son of the owner, Stephen, will help you, Stephen is very knowledgeable on all the items, quite helpful. If you walk to the top of the street you will find the entrance to their Ancient site. Enjoy the store, it is wonderful. I have been to this store many times.

I doubt it. The museum is small, but high quallity. The circuit of the ruins is small, but very interesting. The walk up to the fortress is free and could be done another day. It takes longer because it is more strenuous, but very informative.

You can go with a tour group ( bus or private) from Athens and other cities nearby. Ancient Corinth is not huge or overwhelming. It is kind of "off the beaten path" of roads but not hard to get to. We drove ourselves there and did a self guided tour. It is helpful to know what you are looking at since it is all ruins, so if you are driving yourselves, get a good Guide Book. ( I did not see any tour guides at the entrance like you see in other places. )
