So much history and story was awe inspiring to stand and see it for real at the entrance to the historic city of Mycenae.

La monumental Puerta de los leones (1.250 a.C. aprox.) era la entrada a la Acrópolis micénica, estaba formada por dos enormes bloques de piedra de 3,75 m de alto que sostenían un dintel de 20 toneladas, sobre él, hay una piedra triangular donde se encuentran dos leonas sin cabeza, alzadas sobre un altar y apoyadas en una columna de estilo minoico.
Me pareció maravillosa, lo mejor sin duda del yacimiento de Micenas, vale la pena visitarla.
100% Recomendable.

Lieu resté dans son histoire avec de jolis monuments. On peu se balader dans de nombreuses arènes, monter au fort, visiter le petit musée avec les résultats des fouilles.
Prix de 12 euros pour les adultes et gratuit pour les moins 25 ans

How easy is it to explore Mycenae and nafplio by riding public transportation?

Hello,
Unfortunately, I have no idea how to reach Mycenae by public transport as public transport I am using only in big cities... I think you shall simply rent the car. It is easy to drive in Greece. You don't need an expensive navigation devices to navigate in Greece. I used my Android based mobile (Samsung A3) with Here WeGo navigation application which has downloadable offline maps.. The good thing about Here WeGo is that you can do preparations before your trip where via PC via Web Browser you find and put places to favorites you want to visite and this is synced to your mobile application... so you do some "home work" you have easy drive on vacations.

Not sure about Mycenae.
Getting around Nafplio is easy. It’s a relatively small place.
You can take the little tourist train, see where everything is and then walk.
A tourist bus takes you up to the fort above the town.
