Gianna and the team are very professional ,friendly and take great care, giving guidance and instruction so you enjoy this fantastic experience,myself and my wife are complete novices having only ridden 2 or 3 times previously many years ago. If you have thought " oh that would be something different to do" then contact Gianna and book it, we had a great leisurely 2 hours or just over ride through beautiful Mandraki forest and onto the beach .Thank you Gianna and team for helping make Alison,s birthday extra special.

I had a Nice ridning With the horse Larry. I was afraid of riding, but then they took a rope and led the horse. That was good for me. You must have good shoes. They have helmets og something to take on Your legs so it is better to ride.

we took the bus to the riding centre to discuss the ride and book 2 days before we went out. We explained to them that we were very experienced riders with many many years experience between us, we asked for a canter on the beach and were told that it would not be possible as too many tourists in August only in the winter months but we could canter through the forest, a little disappointed we readily accepted this. on the day of the ride we went out with our guide, after 20 minutes walking I asked her when we would start to trot, she explained to me no trotting! I asked again saying that we wanted a hack where we could trot and canter in the woods, she told me no trotting or cantering as we had to turn back soon, we basically walked up a track (fantastic views yes, but we could have got a car or bike to see them) turned around and walked back, I told her that this was not what we had agreed with the stable owner, she apologised and told me that she was only on 3 weeks holiday working at the centre and didn't know what to say, we arrived back at the yard 45 minutes after we set out, so we paid 35 euros each for a 45 minute walk up and down a hill!!! discussed I took this up with the owner and told him what I thought he denied telling me that we would canter or even go into the forest, and told me I was crazy!!! I told him I would not be paying him 35 euros each for this ride as in my opinion it was worth about 10 - 15 euros each, I agreed to give him 25 euros each in the end. my advice great for a little walk on a horse, but dont expect a proper ride and this is little more than a pony ride.

we booked a ride out for 1 hour up to the mountains overlooking Mandraki beach which took us right to the top of the mountain and we came back through Mandraki Forest.
Our guide was very patient with us and Paco, who liked to eat things on his way round and took us out for almost 1 1/2 hours even though we only paid for 1 hour.
They cater for all abilities.
