We went swimming here and being able to do this openly and safely in a city centre is a unique experience. There’s a good spot where you can go and any visitor to Copenhagen should embrace it, especially in the summer months. Great for kids as well

I read that swimming in a harbour was a must-do when visiting Copenhagen. While I don't quite agree, that is probably because I came in June, which was too cold to really enjoy it. I consider myself quite hardy against the cold, and I enjoyed it as an endurance test, but not much as a relaxing swim.
Moreover, I don't quite understand what we are meant to do with our possessions when we visit. I was lucky my grandmother offered to watch my stuff while I swam, and it was completely empty when I visited, but I'd say you've either got to carry stuff of next to no value to steal, have someone watch your stuff while you swim, or have a lot of faith in Danish hospitality that your stuff won't get stolen.
So I enjoyed my visit, but if you are in two minds about it, rest assured you aren't missing anything major if you miss it.

At the end of the Nyhaun Street is a small pier to ride the yellow Ferry or Boat. Locals use it to travel by water from Nyhaun to other ports around the city. My City Pass card allows me to ride this transport for free.
One of the Stops is the Islands Byrgge where I saw some people paddling their kayaks, people sunbathing along the shore, etc. The views for the other stops are equally beautiful - high rise buildings where locals live, theaters, galleries, restaurants on the docked boats, etc.

Beautiful area of bridges and bathing areas in the canals of Copenhagen. Plenty of green space and docks to stretch out on and soak up the sun.

Värt ett besök om du är i Köpenhamn en varm dag! Det går att bada på flera ställen men vi valde den delen med uppgjorda bassänger. Härligt bad men lite stimmigt och trångt. Området generellt är verkligen värt ett besök en fin dag!

Skønt sted, hvis man vil opleve bylivet fra en lidt anden side end den sædvanlige strøgtur.

Vi fandt ind her for at spise et måltid i det kolde vejr 6.4 kl 13.Har været her på tidligere ferie til kaffe.
Vi kan ikke erindre, at vi i flere år har fået så ringe mad. Vi fik henholdsvis Cæsarsalat og hummersuppe. Hummersuppen var knap lunken og smagte rædselsfuldt. Cæsarsalaten var tandløs og havde INGEN smag og begge måltider var umulige at fortsætte med ud over et par bidder. Jeg havde kvalme af de 2 skefulde hummersuppe, jeg fik og måtte på toilettet omgående, hvorefter vi forlod stedet.

Deze plaats geeft een mooi uitzicht op het water. Er zijn loopbruggen over het water, kayak mogelijkheden, fitness, zwemmen en een dompelbad. Niet alleen in de zomer maar ook tijdens de herfst werd er nog gezwommen. Leuke plaats.

Hello, we're interested in coming for a week in October with two boys aged 9 and 12. Selected a family bungalow with front sea view but would like to know if these will have separate room/annexe for twin beds or should this be a suite?

Hello,
We are staying in Islands Brygge in an apartment for the copenhagen marathon. can anyone recommend a restaurant in close proximity to go for dinner and take some Danish friends? Somewhere smart / casual, any kind of food! We won't be driving but don't mind a short taxi ride if necessary.
