They have a store in Japan too, but the store in their home country is definitely different. As always, the product lineup was stylish and eye-catching. However, perhaps because there weren't many staff members, I couldn't get through to them when I wanted to ask if they had something in stock.
The posters were in a poster case, which made it easy to take home, but the price wasn't very good lol. The Danish cushions were reasonably priced and appealing.
There was also a tableware brand I'd never seen before, but I wasn't able to buy anything because I was still in the middle of my trip.
Next time I want to do some serious shopping.

På vandretur på Strøget var det deilig å gå inn på Illum, ikke bare møblene, men også alt annet, for å varme seg en vindfull vinterdag. Enormt utvalg av merkevarer fra det hel luksuriøse til det mer folkelige. Ikke helt billig det hele og NOK x 1,4 var det lett å glemme. Men her var «alt»

Really beautiful store for the home --almost a museum. The goods are placed in uncrowded exhibitions and the staff are friendly and well versed in the merchandise. I loved it.

Riktigt bra utbud både för hem men också i klädesväg! Jag hittar alltid något att köpa. Idag fick jag hjälp av ”Lena S” i Täby- beskriver henne med tre ord- snorkig, dryg och högljudd! Jag kände mig inte välkommen, personalen verkar inte ha förstått varför de får lön! Man bör jobba med personalbemötandet om ngn ska vilja handla där 👏🏼

This store is a must for design lovers visiting Copenhagen. There is simply no other store in the world able to display such a volume and variety of exquisitely curated design objects. Very easy to spend hours visiting it, Illums Bolighus is really a wonderful place to contemplate and to buy the best of Scandinavian design.

I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend that people shop at the main Copenhagen Illums Bolighus if you want polite, friendly customer service. I searched for just one helpful, pleasant cashier in the store on December 30th and alas, none to be found. They are an expensive and elite store and I looked forward to shopping for a number of things there.
I left dismayed and journeyed on to Magasin and Artium for the same items- which I found. I was treated and respected with much more attention than at Illums. I have shopped at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Lord and Taylor and have never had the cold shoulder I experienced at Illums Bolighus. Interestingly - I shopped a bit at their highly regarded neighbors, Royal Copenhagen and Georg Jensen, and was welcomed and treated very well.
No excuse for such poor welcoming at Illums Bolighus.

That store is wonderful and it is the top from design. You can find there everything what you remember but everything is connected with Danish desing. There are several floors full of things. Beautiful, especially before Christmas. This place is situated on Stroeget right next to Disney Shop.

set on the Stroget in the centre of Kobenhavn, this is a must visit shop wen in the city. The kitchen accessories shop on the ground floor should not be missed if you are an amateur (or professional) cook.

Köpenhamn i december är aldrig fel!!! Massor av jul, underbar mat och god öl!! Bara att flanera på Ströget och känna doften av brända mandlar kan göra vem som helst glad! Lite extra krydda är dock att besöka Illums boelighus! Första våningen är full av roligt plock av alla olika sorter sen våning två, tre och fyra kommer alla otroligt vackra möbler och lampor som har hög dansk design och kvalitet!! Tycker man om att botanisera bland sådant får man inte missa Illums!!!!
