Byparken City Park is located in the centre of Roskilde, the second most important city in Denmark. In fact, this park links the old town (main square, Cathedral) with the harbour (Vikings Museum). It is a very nice and quiet place to walk everyday, relax or come with children to the children park located near the Vikings Museum. It's a very relaxing place to go everywhere in the city.

Lovely small city with beautiful harbor and wonderful Viking museum. Terrific walking and biking. Very historic and beautiful church whose towers could be seen from many vantage points. Pleasant town square with good food and lots of activity. Easy train ride to Copenhagen.

You walk through this very pleasant park on your way to the Viking museum and the harbour. There is a huge grass area where people were sitting and watching Tour de France when we were there.

Det er et skønt og grønt sted, hvor der både er en sø og legepladser.
Vi besøgte Roskilde én enkelt dag, og her gik vi en god tur med børnene. Legepladsen var også god, og der var generelt en rigtig god stemning i parken.

A lovely little park to go through between the Viking Ships and up to the cathedral and town Centre. The real highlight is if you are coming from the Viking ship museum, stick to the right, as there’s a nice sizable playground for the kids, very well maintained and with good swings and slides among other things. After lunch, the kids wanted to go for a play and we ended up staying there 30 minutes as they had fun.
The rest of the park is also pretty, a lovely Brook with the cathedral at the top of the hill.

En vacker park mellan hamnen och domkyrkan. Ett område för frid, fröjd och avkoppling. Säkert ännu rofylldare på sommaren.

A warm autumn afternoon with heralds of the beginnings of seasonal colours was a lovely occasion to stroll through the delightful space.
Leading towards the fjord, it has a fine water area with lots of birds and grand tranquil paths.
Popular both with dog owners and not, it is a perfect route from the centre old town to the Viking Museum, and back again.

The beautiful green park connects the old town of Roskilde and its famous cathedral to the Roskilde fjord and the Viking Ship museum.

We enjoyed walking through this is a lovely scenic park between old Roskilde and the Viking Museum. We were there in winter on a fine day and it was a very pleasant meander down the hill ( back up later. Very enjoyable. Not too onerous.
