皇宫很华丽，但不令人感到惊艳。中午12:15卫兵交接值得一看，尤其骑兵乐队要一边操控马匹还要奏乐，整齐划一，很好看。游客非常多，最好提早30分钟到，才能有好的照相位置。

（这里）与我们参观过的仍然活跃的皇家宫殿不同，我们对我们可以看到的房间数量感到惊讶。这儿绝对值得一游，如果你运气好，碰上换岗，那会是一件有趣的事情，还有军乐队（演奏）等等......

瑞典皇宫相对其他皇宫来说，外观只属普通。
不过入面的画好美，好有钱的地方。

我们在这里度过了美好的一天，观看了卫兵换岗，然后又参观了美丽的皇宫。我们选择了去上面的楼层进行一次英语之旅，并在下面的楼层使用了音频导览。导游给我们讲了很多关于国王和王后的故事，所以这次英国之旅特别有帮助。不要错过教堂和财政部门!好好享受吧!

这座宫殿相当的大，在一定程度上，这个家族仍在此处生活和经商。展品中有绘画、地毯和手工艺品。院子里，有和大炮拍照的机会。

来到古城，当然要来皇宫。我们没有进入皇宫，而是为了看卫兵交接。每天中午１２：１５就是换兵的时间，要早些来才能有看得到的位子，也蛮多人来看的。留意星期一是休息的。换兵仪式很多，除了操兵外，还有仪杖队奏乐。整个仪式非常长，我们最后没等看完便走了。

这里大部分宫殿和其他的皇宫宫殿差不多，有很漂亮的房间，很悠久的历史。但是地下室的宝库却远远超出了我的预期。我们非常幸运，遇到警卫换岗，大概有30分钟的小型马匹和铜管乐队表演，非常有趣！

You can buy the tickets online to visit the Royal Castle of Stockholm at this web page. The page comes in Swedish by default, but you can switch to English by clicking on the UK flag icon at the top right.

How much time do you think it will take to visit the palace with everything in it (Treasury, Armory, Riddarholm,Gustav III's Museum of Antiquities, Royal apartments) ?
Are there any special events in the palace during July? July 14th (the princess birthday)?
Where is the best spot to wait for the changing of the guard?

You will definitely need the whole day to do all that! And best to get your tickets on-line ahead of time if you can, else you will spend more time in line. It still takes awhile to get through security.
Watch the guard by the Cannons - pretty nice.
As for events, make sure to look at the on-line calendar and see what is going on. This may change as you get closer. We had to come back on a Monday morning to the Chapel since it was closed for a wedding function the day we were there and so we would have missed it otherwise. Fortunately the tickets were good the next morning by our stamping them on the way out.
