Lutheran church dating from the 16th century which has retained its character.
For several years, the church has been helping the needy, in fact some sleep on the benches without being worried.

La chiesa di Santa Chiara sorge un poco defilata nella zona della Stazione Centrale di Stoccolma e viene per lo più ignorata dalla gran parte dei turisti che affollano giornalmente Stoccolma.
Ed è un vero peccato perché all'incredibile campanile (vedere per credere) alto 116 metri e parte integrante del panorama della città si unisce un interno bellissimo, maestoso e solenne.

Located near my hotel, I stopped here when I saw someone entering it. Inside were choir members getting ready for the service. I was told that they would open for service at 11:00 am.
This church is beautiful and well- maintained. I briefly took some pictures of its altar, wall decorations, etc I asked about the church denomination and learned that it is a Lutheran Church.
Did not stay for service due to time constraints. I was there at 9:00 and service does not start until 11:00 a.m.

The Church of Saint Clare is in central Stockholm, not far from the Central Railway Station. The church was founded during the 13th century, but it was later torn down and reconstructed from scratch during the 16th century, and further altered after that.
The 116 meters tower is one of the tallest church towers in Sweden, and the church is in a nice garden surrounded by modern buildings.
The church interior is interesting, especially the painted ceilings.

Fantastisk kyrka all respekt till er för att ni tar hand om de hemlösa och utsatta i Stockholm. Var med och såg en morgon när de hemlösa började ramla in och vänta på sin tur att få lite mat och ev kläder vid behov. Tacksam för människor som hjälper de utsatta.

Deze kerk ligt wat uit de weg, maar is zeker de moeite om te bezoeken.
Het typische kruisgewelf is hier heel mooi versierd. Mooi orgel ook.
En in de tuin errond liggen veel oude graven.

Bel édifice, en rénovation extérieur, l’intérieur sobre et très lumineux, un calme et une sérénité appréciable .
Dommage que l’entrée soit payante et qu’il y ait des horaires d’ouverture.

S:ta Clara is just 100 meters from Stockholm's central railway and subway stations. So you can drop in here if you are waiting for a train. It is open most of the time. They sometimes have church performances that you can enjoy. Or just sit down and do a prayer and enjoy the atmosphere.
(The area around the church is not top notch, but the church itself is worth a visit if you love old churches.)

That's a good question. Not possible to answer. S:ta Clara is a very busy church with lots of activities. You must check with the organist Per Thunarf.
