A very nice study visit to Kista Science City, where our high school students got to see what the future can offer at, among others, Ericsson, Intel and Samsung.

We were in Kista City with a German school class and received a very informative tour from Mr. Giertz. He gave a very interesting lecture, during which he always gave the opportunity for questions. The whole thing was rounded off with typical Swedish pastries and coffee. We then explored the rooms and buildings. It was a successful event all around!

I had the opportunity to visit Kista Science City, and it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. Known as the 'Silicon Valley of Sweden', Kista Science City is a vibrant hub of technology, innovation, and business. The area boasts an impressive array of tech companies and startups, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in the latest technological advancements and digital solutions.
One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the various tech-centric facilities and getting a glimpse into the cutting-edge research and development happening right here. The atmosphere is buzzing with creativity and forward-thinking, which is incredibly inspiring.
If you're into technology, innovation, or just want to experience a unique side of Stockholm, Kista Science City is definitely worth a visit.

A visit to Kista Science City, Europe’s largest Information and Communications Technology (ICT) cluster inspired me greatly. Kista exemplifies successful cooperation between the government and the private sector in the pursuit of innovation and meaningful education. Our government should definitely consider this model if we aim to excel in innovation.

Marco hat die 2,5 stündige Stadtführung in Gamla Stan sehr abwechslungsreich gestaltet und die Zeit verging wie im Flug. Er hat die Historie der Stadt und Schwedens erfrischend erläutert und sogar mit Liedeinlage Verbindungen zu heutigen Mittsommernacht-Traditionen hergestellt. Auch die Informationen, wie Stockholm Nachhaltigkeit lebt, waren sehr interessant. Alles in allem "Tack för att du följde med oss".

I've just got back from a few days in Stockholm, and was lucky enough to do a 3-hour private tour with Marco of Stockholm Discovery.
I had asked Marco for a sort of basic overview, including the Old Town. He arrived on time, was incredibly personable and happy to answer any questions I had. He explained everything in a non-showy way, just very clear (his English is ridiculously good) and he really knows his stuff. Also, because he's an official guide I got far more than I expected. He took me down to see one of the Metro stations (I hadn't realised how incredible they are, as I'd been walking around) and didn't have to pay, took me in to the City Hall to see where the Nobel Prize ceremony takes place (I didn't have to pay) and also the Royal Palace. Again, I didn't have to pay. He just waved his card and we strolled in. I guess that's the real bonus (or one of them) of paying for a guide like Marco.
I got a real feel for Stockholm and how it developed, where everything was and also, Marco is a really lovely guy. The three hours absolutely flew by. In fact, I'd have happily spent another 3-hours with him. I'd highly recommend getting him to show you around Stockholm if you can. It'll be worth every penny ...or crown.

This was an amazing experience from the first inquiry through the end of the tour. Stein (company’s manager) was very responsive to all our questions and requests. We communicated via emails, texts and phone calls. The itinerary was customized based on Stein’s recommendations and our interests. Every little detail of the tour was planned in advance. Stein even sent us a menu to the restaurant for lunch so we could have an opportunity to review it and make sure we we like it. These guys are committed to deliver exceptional service. Marco (our tour guide) surprised us by meeting us at the train station when we arrived from Copenhagen the day before the tour and arranged for the taxi to our hotel. Talking about a VIP service. The tour itself was excellent. In six hours we learned so much about the city and the country. Marco is very knowledgeable and know his stuff. He periodically used his iPad to demonstrate certain events that took place at the locations we visited as well as referred to the map. All in all this was a great experience. I would strongly recommend using this company.

Sometimes you come across a guide who really is a cut above the rest and we were lucky enough to find that person in Marco for 2 days of touring in Stockholm. We were in a group of 15 women and Marco charmed them all with his knowledge, enthusiasm, ease of communicating about anything, professionalism and just generally being the kind of person you like being around which made it a wonderful 2 days. We could not have asked for more from him and therefore I thoroughly recommend him if you are coming to Stockholm. You need to get in early though!

Originally there was to be 5 of us but one couple was ill, so 3 of us had a private tour with Marco. He was very easy to communicate with prior to our trip and was a fantastic tour guide. He used experts at both Sigtuna and Uppsala to help give the history of the area. We learned a lot about Sweden's history and current status. A really fun day and worth the price.

Hi Marco, We are a party of 8 adults arriving on Celebrity ship The Eclipse into Stockholm on July 9, 2018. We dock at 8 AM and leave that evening at 6 PM. Hi! Our cruise did not disembark from Stockholm, so we didn't have this issue.
However, I am sure that Marco can arrange something for you! He did have a large van for our group of 6. I imagine that if you had about 4 people, that vehicle would be large enough for you and your luggage? If you talk to him, he will surely accommodate you and all of your luggage and get you to the airport at the end of the tour. Just arrange it with him in advance of your trip. The whole tour is customizable, so just let him know what you need.
