Patrik did a wonderful job touring our bachelorette party around Gamla Stan. The stops were unique pubs with great beer. Patrik had a great knowledge of the neighborhood and pub history and shared interesting nordic stories. Would definitely recommend to friends!

This was a great tour. Our guide (Can't remember his name. Sorry) was excellent and told us interesting facts about the history of the Old Town and about the places we drank in. There was a good selection of drinks which also had stories attached to them. The tour is definitely worth the money and I'd recommend it to anyone

So happy to have taken this tour!
You really got a great look in the area and learned interesting facts both about Sweden's history and the history of alcohol.
And for the price, it simply can't be beat!

The tour gave us an opportunity to walk around and learn some history and explore a few places that I don't think that we would have found on our own. Our tour guide was delightful and super helpful and even gave us some great recommendation of places that we had to see with our remaining time in Stockholm. With the amount of alcohol and the additional information this was well worth the price that we paid.

En otroligt intressant, rolig och trevlig upplevelse där vi fick besöka och testa smaker och platser som vi aldrig hade hittat till själva. Rekommenderas för alla som är intresserade av historia och dryck. Vi gick hem med en wow-känsla av hur bra vi tyckte det var!

Nothing much to add. Considering the price of alcohol in Sweden, the price of this tour is a steal. Warmly recommended!

We walked around Gamla Stan and learned history of Stockholm and how Swedish people kept good relationship with alcohol. We visited 4 pubs/restaurants and had 6 types of alcohol. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, and the tour was filled with laughter all the time. Highly recommended.

We were a well-sorted 8 people group... from all over the world! Tour guide was extremely prepared, he made us discover all the hidden secrets of Stockholm, even if the magical leitmotiv was...obviously, alcohol! He made us taste the swedish history through different drinks, each one in a special bar of the Old city: mead, brännvin, beers! We also had the time to bond with the other participants. Super-super recommended.

Really interesting tour with plenty of beverage(not to much). I live in Stockholm but a lot of the facts of the history of spirits, beer and Gamla Stan was new to me. The guide Tiffany was enthuastic and knowledgeble. She translated some to Swedish and it was possible to get all translated if requested.

Do you have choices of beers to taste at the pubs? My daughter and I love beer, but we aren't crazy about porters and similar style beers. Thanks!

We did not have a choice of beers. But that was the point. It is a historic tour not just a beer tour. They have picked what was typical for the period. I would not worry about earlier prefrences in beer...but just be open for what comes along. It was a super experience.

Does this tour operate in winter? I'll be in Stockholm between 27 Dec 15 and 2 Jan 16 and would like to take the tour if it is going on during that time period

Thank you for contacting Stockholm Historic Pub Tour. Our regular tours are on Thursdays and Saturdays year round and we always try to accommodate groups on other days as well if necessary. Unfortunately, during the dates you selected, all of our guides will be away on holiday, so we are unable to offer any tours that week. I hope you find your way to Stockholm another time so we get a chance to show you our beautiful city.
