It was on a whim that we decided to do an escape game as we happened to pass by it. Luckily a room was available and we were able to take advantage of the 8 p.m. slot with the “belly of the beast” scenario, completely in the dark.
An enthusiastic welcome, in impeccable English, the young woman who took care of being the game master was very friendly and educational.
In short, a great time, and God knows it's not my habit to leave comments on TripAdvisor, which I often find annoying as hell, but just for our game master, I'm making the effort. 5/5!!

Now I've tried most of all the rooms at Uniquest (both on Klostergatan and on Österängsgatan) and the only reason I haven't done them all is because I don't want the magic to end.
The rooms are very well made and well thought out, from the overall impression down to the level of detail. It really is like stepping into another world for a moment!
The rooms are intuitive without being too simple, you kind of feel like you're progressing as you solve more puzzles. Props and decor feel genuine and elaborate, mechanisms and locks etc. works well! No bugs. The tasks are varied so you really have to think and twist and turn everything. The level of difficulty corresponds well with the descriptions of the rooms.
The staff is very friendly and committed. It feels like they have good control while you are in the room, it is easy to get in touch or help if you need it.
I like that you can take a photo together with your friends afterwards. It would be nice if there was something else you could buy as a souvenir, maybe a pin/button?

We were mixed ages between 3-38 and had a lot of fun in the Alice in Wonderland room! Great fun for everyone, well organized rooms with props, the children helped and could join in finding solutions, also good and quick clues when things got a bit tricky! First time for us, and we are absolutely ready for a new room next time we are in Uppsala!

I've been there several times and done all their rooms, so didn't really know which date to set. Was there last summer, if I remember correctly.
In any case - the best Escape rooms I've been to in Sweden (have done in several different countries and like all the ones in Stockholm). They really should get more ratings and more attention, because they do EVERYTHING right.
Firstly, each room has a clear theme, which they then fully follow in the design of the room. The environment in the rooms are thought out and well designed based on the given theme and are sort of "built up". I don't know how to explain it, but it's not just rooms where you set up some furniture and props, but they've sort of built things and environments so it looks very good.
Then the puzzles in the rooms are also very good and fun. They also go with the theme and you feel that they fit into the room. There is nothing that feels random and as if it doesn't belong in the room, but the theme of them also feels thought out and appropriate in the environment. (By contrast, I've been in other rooms where you just throw in a periodic table because it's easy to make a puzzle out of it, even though the room has nothing to do with it, and rooms where you reuse the exact same puzzle in a " new" room). The puzzles also feel like there can be several people doing them, they are new and unexpected, just the right amount of difficulty.
I really liked all the rooms, but I don't remember them all quite as clearly. My favorite was probably the Saw room. It was big, several different sub-rooms, felt suitably scary, scary props. Then I also loved the Alice in Wonderland room, with great surroundings and the entrance to the room.
Then I also think it's a good level of difficulty. Difficult, but logical puzzles that can be figured out.
Good, friendly staff, who seem to know this with Escape rooms.
Always want to come back to them, when they make new rooms!

Ran the wild west, EXTREMELY difficult room, should be 10/10 on difficulty... One puzzle didn't work and it took at least 10 min before the "gamemaster" discovered that the puzzle didn't work as they should! Very disappointed.

Hej Sanna! Svårighetsgraderna utgår ifrån en generell standard, men den personliga upplevelsen kan givetvis variera.
Däremot ska man aldrig vara fast i 10 minuter på grund av tekniska fel i rummet! Jättetråkigt att höra, det är ingenting som ska ske hos oss.

Jag kan verkligen rekommendera ett besök på UniQuest i Uppsala. Vi hade aldrig provat escape room förut och började med Pirates och körde därefter SAW. Väldigt välbyggda rum och om ni är SAW-fan så kommer ni garanterat gilla det äventyret men även Pirates var grymt. Trevlig och entusiastisk personal. Kevin var vårat stöd i SAW och hans kollega, som jag glömt namnet på, gav oss nödvändiga tips i Pirates.

Great escape rooms! I’ve been to many different companies, and UniQuest is definitely in the top tier in Sweden. Variety of themes, great puzzles and beautiful rooms! The games are very immersive and you spend 60 minutes (hopefully less) in a different world. I’ve been with friends, work, hen parties and family - great place to go! Lovely staff as well 👍

Grymt! Smarta lösningar och inget hänglås-trams 🙌🏽 Har kört 50+ rum i 5 olika länder, och Uniquest har kanske de bästa rummen jag testat!

Känns det klaustrofobiskt med piratrummet? Trånga utrymmen?

Hej Kristin,
Vi har inte upplevt att kunder uppfattar rummet som klaustrofobiskt. Man kommer inte att bli inlåst på riktigt, finns ett behov av att lämna rummet så går det alldeles utmärkt.
