Worth a visit for the fresco alone

Incredibly pretty & a member of the clergy took time to show us around & even took photos. They explained it was the 3rd church on that site, & pointed out other areas of interest we might enjoy too

affresco interessante.

chiesa molto semplice, pulita e all'ingresso vari brochure in tutte le lingue. Comodo parcheggio, si entra dalla parre superiore, prendendo le scale.

A Moving Experience
2022年8月
Visited the Lutheran Church. Wonderful fresco behind the altar. Guide said the story is the Fountain of Life with all the seasons represented. Every part of the fresco represented a part of the story. A monument to the 609 local men who lost their lives in WWII is located behind the church. The German’s and the Finish people were fighting the Russians. At the end of the war most all of the buildings in town were burned to the ground.

While in my opinion the church looks not really special from the outside, I did really like the interior. The style of the frescos differs from what I've seen anywhere else so far. Also I like the possibility to watch the services online.

Me resultó muy curiosa. Yo no había visto ninguna iglesia luterana antes (creo) así que me llamó mucho la atención.
Merece la pena acercarse a verla ya que no lleva ni 5 minutos.

Bonita y del pueblo

Bonita y no turística. Buen paseo por las afueras y alrededores de Rovaniemi pueblo. El pueblo es bastante turístico pero esta parte tiene su encanto.

Magnifico l'affresco

La chiesa è luterana ortodossa e non ha note artistiche particolari, fatta eccezione per uno splendido affresco dietro all'altare, da cui si viene rapiti appena si entra. Ingresso libero.

Una cattedrale molto bella e suggestiva che ti cattura lo sguardo a lungo.
È nei pressi del centro di Rovaniemi.
Un luogo di culto aperto durante il giorno che vale la pena di visitare.
Di certo una bella attrazione della Città.
