We took the 3-hour wilderness experience and it was amazing! We got to enjoy a small snack around the fire, which was really nice. We also had the chance to feed and pet the reindeer. I highly recommend it! A big thanks to our wonderful guide, Yuka!

We bought our tickets and then queued for a short period of time. We went on the shortest reindeer path for 25 euros per person as this was the only track available due to the lack of snow. It was ok but nothing special and we ended up getting quite dirty (reindeer fur everywhere). The guide was helpful and took many photos of us at the end.

Loved the forest path raindeer ride. 2 adults and 1 children cost £100 from the information point in the main office. It was a lovely ride in the forest. Beautiful and quiet. Loved roasting marshmallows outside and the queue wasn’t more than 5 minutes.

Myself and a friend visited on a weekday in February 2024.
We both really enjoyed our 3km reindeer ride. We shared a sledge and it was a relaxing 45 minute ride on the snow through the SCV site and adjacent woodlands at a walking pace. Our guide (Mikko) was happy to take our photo at the start and finish of the ride. We also had the opportunity to cook sausages and drink warm berry juice in a private covered area adjacent to the finish. In all, a magical winter experience

We went for the 1000m reindeer sleigh ride and it we all loved it, such a beautiful trail. We arrived at 11:30am and had to queue for 45 minutes for the ride, but worth the wait.

We had a fantastic experience during the Santa Claus Reindeer visit, largely thanks to Ute, our knowledgeable guide. Her dedication to explaining things in an approachable manner truly enriched the visit. Her insights about the reindeer and their role in Christmas folklore added a special touch to the outing. On top, she speaks also German so our 5 years old child could smoothly communicate, ask questions and fully enjoy time spent there. Highly recommended!

Bom, se você não tiver tempo para conhecer uma grande fazenda de renas, esse passeio quebra um galho. A partir de 18 euros você consegue dar uma volta de trenó. Para nós foi suficiente.

Deluso dalla "cerimonia di attraversamento del circolo polare". Molto deluso. Non vale assolutamente la pena.
Solo una manciata di minuti, con un signore molto riservato e silenzioso, attorno al fuoco.
L'attestato che ci è stato dato era senza nome e pure con la data sbagliata! Ho dovuto fare nuovamente la coda per farmi dare un attestato con il timbro giusto, ma questa volta, hanno scritto i nomi a penna, sbagliandone uno! Tra l'altro, è un attestato diverso da quello (più bello) che mettono in vendita.

Durante il mese di dicembre 2022 sono stata con famiglia al Santa Claus Reindeer dove è possibile andare su una slitta trainata dalle renne.
Nei mesi invernali, soprattutto nel periodo natalizio è meglio prenotare prima tramite il sito. Noi abbiamo fatto la passeggiata lunga che è un po' più costosa ma ne vale la pena perché permette di vedere un bosco con la neve incontaminata. Il conduttore della slitta parla in inglese e finlandese ed è felice di dare informazioni interessanti.
Al termine della passeggiata è possibile gustare salsiccia cotta sul fuoco e una buonissima tisana.
La temperatura era circa di sette gradi sotto lo zero. Noi indossavamo le giacche da sci, guanti e sottoguanti, cappello di lana, pantaloni termici e non abbiamo sentito freddo.

I saw from the website that the reindeer Ride is €29 for 15 mins, jus wanna check if the thermal overall is included in the price or we have to pay additional for the rental of the thermal overall?

No but they do cover you with a reindeer hide which is very warm. We did the 30 min drive and were fine in normal cold weather gear.

Hello, the difference between the rides are just the length of them or do they take different paths? Is the 30 minutes worth it compared to the 15 minutes, scenery wise?

All the rides start and stop in the same place, Forest path takes a little turn on the forest side, but Winter adventure (35-45 minutes) goes so deep in the forest that there are places where you can't see houses.

400m round: about 5-10 minutes

apr 1000m ride: about 15-20 minutes

When the weather is cool enough and the reindeer have already grown the winter hair, then we can do the reindeer rides. And usually in September we can do the short 400m ride with sleight on wheels. Please contact closer to our email; info@santaclausreindeer.fi

We booked ours there, it's important to get the Northern Lights App and go by the forecast, not much point booking if there is no Northern lights forcast, there wasn't when we were there and instead we did a reindeer sled ride as the sun rose it was truly beautiful.

Thanks for message. You don´t need to prebook, there are always open 400m and 1000m reindeer sleigh rides during opening times. Right now at high season we are open daily at 10:00-17:00.
There are 3km safari and the Northern lights-safari that you have to book in advance. You can ask about possibilities at janne.korkko@santaclausreindeer.fi
