I have already been lucky enough to visit these caves several times in the past and I must be honest that they absolutely deserve to be seen... but what happened to me is disconcerting..... Sunday, November 10 I was in the area and I decided to stop by for a new visit and....: I arrive at the site at 2 pm and everything is closed, including the bar, restaurant and shop ... I wait for the opening time of the ticket office at 2.30 pm and a nice Lord tells me that the visits are ABSOLUTELY and unquestionably available EXCLUSIVELY by reservation ... I think that the enhancement of the territory that we so much praise is not just that ... The embarrassing thing was that after me I saw some foreign tourists with children receive the same answer and leave obviously disappointed.

Wonder, an unforgettable experience. There aren't enough adjectives to explain how wonderful it is. Just visiting it fill your eyes with what they are.

The caves are very beautiful and suggestive. The Guide was clear and explanatory, involving all participants. Very functional organization and timing.

Nice to visit, beautiful caves. We have been with 2 children, 4 and 10 years old. It was doable, a nice trip. I'm quite big so had to bend over more often but all in all do well.
There was English explanation from our guide who took the time for the whole group.
Put on long pants and bring a cardigan. All in all nice to have seen.

We had not booked in advance and there were no tours with English guide when we arrived. However, we got an extra guide with who could a little English - so super service from their side. But remember to book if you want to be sure to get a guide you can understand.
The walk through the caves takes about 1 hour and features bones of cave bears and signs of prehistoric humans. The caves themselves are also incredibly beautiful. Overall a great experience.
Remember good shoes and a shirt.

Beautiful, caves to visit absolutely if you are in the area. Explanation in both Italian and English. The visit lasts 70 minutes, up and down inside the mountain.

I went on a guided tour with my husband and daughter: fantastic experience! Suggestive and spectacular caves! We were all enchanted. Highly recommended experience!

Si possono fare foto senza flash, non ci sono problemi di gocciolamenti o schizzi di acqua, tenendo presente che è' comunque un ambiente molto umido. Buona l' illuminazione artificiale.

La visita all'interno delle grotte è sempre guidata.
La durata della visita è di 70 minuti circa.
La prenotazione occorre solamente per i gruppi superiori alle 20 persone.
In altri casi basta presentarsi in biglietteria durante l'orario di apertura e sarà cura de personale addetto organizzare i gruppi per la visita guidata.
I gruppi partono mediamente ogni 30 minuti circa.
