In theory, I should have been next door in Kiki, but Bravó just called my name, and I kept coming back.
A great DJ and local Icelanders having fun. I got what I had hoped for but had expected not to find: wild, authentic, fun Icelanders dancing with abandon.
The beers weren't too pricey and I just felt totally at home.
What's not to love about Bravó?
Oh, and they had a Golden Girls themed toilet. You don't see that every day.

This was everything we were looking for: great music, chill vibe, good happy hour prices, and very little “touristy” vibe. If you like a dive bar with good drinks and service, go here!

Everywhere in Iceland was incredible, the food and people were excellent and I couldn't recommend it more to go and visit it's truly magical. However, my boyfriend and I went here once during our holiday because the happy hour was longer than most other places and we were certainly not welcome when we first came in by the bar staff, and then the people in there. Rude was an understatement. I have never left a negative review anywhere but we have never felt so unwanted anywhere. BUT everywhere else we went was excellent and the people were so polite and lovely

Dark rock style venue. Not normally our thing but actually very entertaining music and great selection of beers at moderate pricing (for Iceland)

Happened on this bar on our first night in town. Friendly staff and customers, good service and a great arty feel. It felt really laidback and there was good music playing.

j'ai dit bravo!!! favourite spot in Reykjavik, first time I came in it was an amazing surprise when they took off the tables and the exquisite electronic music started to make everybody dance!!! A little rave totally unexpected!!!
It’s really cozy and the bartender is really nice and friendly!!! I love Iceland!!! 🫶🏻🇮🇸

Small bar that we called into one evening.
A mixture of locals and tourists and never felt uncomfortable in there.
Would recommend for a quick drink. They don’t serve food.

A neat little bar that was close to where we were staying. Very small, snug surroundings so if you like an intimate bar then this is for you. The only reason that I cannot give full marks is that there was a DJ playing whenever we went in there and the music was very loud so it made it difficult to hold a conversation. Otherwise, a nice little bar.
