This bridge also known as the Luxembourg viaduct became building in ca 1860 to connect the center with the railway station. They wanted to keep the fortifications, so the station had to be outside the center. The bridge is 290 meters long, consists of 24 arches overlooking the river and the park Pétrusse. The inhabitants call this the old bridge and the Adolfs Bridge from 1903 is the new bridge.

It was December 24, 2022 and André Toledo Hissa, who was my host in Howald-Hesperange, which is a very nice place in Luxembourg, I just have to thank, and I wanted to go out sightseeing, the buses don't charge you anything, public transport Everything in the country is free, and I loved it. I decided to walk across this bridge, it was cold and rainy but it was worth it and gave me some great photos of the place.

La Passerelle - Luxembourg Viaduct was built to connect the city centre with Luxembourg Gare Centrale. It runs from Avenue de la Gare to Boulevard Franklin Delano Roosevelt and was built between 1859 and 1861. There are some magnificent views of the city from the Viaduct, equally the Viaduct is an impressive sight itself looming over the Pétrusse Valley.

The Viaduc (Passerelle) is one of the many viaducts in the city of Luxembourg. I would recommend walking across so you can stop and admire the beautiful scenery all around you.

Many reviewers seem to be confused about just which bridge is actually the Passerelle. This high bridge crosses over the Pétrusse valley, connecting the Avenue de la Gare with the Boulevard Franklin Delano Roosevelt. It's offers great views out over the valley. Also can enjoy watching young people show off their skills in the skateboarding park below. The bridge was built between 1859 and 1861, originally to carry train traffic.

Visited on a really sunny day and the view and the walk was so nice. Beautiful view of the city, river, old castel and city walls. Suggested on a sunny day.

Casi lo primero que conocimos de la Ciudad ya que desde el hotel que estaba en la zona de la Gare fuimos a conocer la Catedral y el centro en la parte alta de la Ciudad. Hay bonitas vistas desde el mismo.

Skuffende ophold
Der var en lille pool som var meget koldt. Fire liggestole på en græsplæne og udendørs faciliteter var overordnet set meget skuffende. Værelset var ok men heller ikke mere end det. Vi valgte at rejse før tid

This street/walkway crosses over the Petrusse valley below. Luxembourg City is mostly on top but also has the valley and some greenspace and a few buildings down in the river valley. This is a great viewpoint from which to look down into the valley (currently with a lot of ongoing construction) and across to the other side. Definitely worth including on a walking tour of the city.

My wife and I are thinking about spending 3 nights in Luxembourg around 19 May and wondering what to see. One day will be a day trip to Trier. I don't mind spending for a tour or tour guide since time is limited.
