We hired a boat through George’s and it was an amazing day. No experience required, the staff were very clear and approachable with instructions on operating the boat and were present throughout the day if required. Easy to drive boat, easy online booking, all round great experience.

I went to enquire about the rental of a boat and was told the prices and once I asked about the fuel situation the man was very rude and condescending.He told me to go away as he don't want my business I will not be going back there or recommend to anyone

In Latchi there is a wide variety of boat rental options so we studied all of them and decided for Georges. We took a rib boat with 130hp motor.
Thy are very structured in their job and do not require any payment in advance or guarantee although you get informed about possible costs.
The prices are fair, the service excellent.
They took us out of and in the harbour and although it seemed unnecessary it can be handy when the parking space of the boat is very small.
Unfortunately for us, the waves were big and made our day exhausting but still we had fun and nothing to complaint. The guys kept always an eye on our route and informed us in case of imminent danger.
Furthermore there was a patrol boat supporting the customers all the time.
The briefing before taking the boat was also very extended and helpful.
All in all a very positive experience, almost unexpected positive.

I can’t rate the experience higher.
George’s where great.
Booking on line really easy and lots of very quick communication with them.
We have never driven a boat before but all the team made us feel really safe.
The boat was great and in very good condition.
The staff booking you in were very professional and helpful.
The team on the dock where Great. Spent time with us showing us how to use the anchor and drive safely.
Blue logon is good but we wanted to do snorkelling and the other locations are better for that.
Blue logon gets so busy around 11am.
We went for a morning hire and the sea was a little calmer before the normal afternoon winds.
Would definitely do it again. We did say might even do it for 8 hours next time, it was so good.

La communication pour la réservation a été excellente et se fait en plusieurs langues (anglais grec français ..) tout est fait en sorte pour que l’on comprenne facilement les consignes de sécurité de manœuvre … le personnel agréable et à l’écoute

We rented a boat for four hours and had an amazing time. The booking process was great, they were very helpful and patient while we decided what we wanted! The boat was lovely, clean and in excellent condition. We were given clear instructions and shown a safety video. We were given a map outlining where we could go. There was a safety boat around in case we got into any difficulties.
We had a great time, we set off at 8.30 and went straight to the blue lagoon which was empty! Eventually lots of other boats began to arrive and we left and went to the other quieter bays. By the time we set off back the Blue Lagoon was packed, so I would recommend going early.
A professional set up and a great trip.

Absolutely excellent service from George’s water sports, from meeting George on Latchi beach, right through to the actual trip.
We had a private hire, with captain of the 150hp vessel, who took us wherever we wanted to go including over a ship wreck to snorkel. Brilliant day, and one of the most memorable of the holiday.

We found George’s before we came on holiday and agreed to hire a boat. They were quick to respond, professional and really helpful. When we arrived it was seamless, the safety talk was great, the talk on the boat brilliant and the boat amazing. They were so helpful when we got stuck and the staff were all really friendly. They were so good we are going again!!

Wir hatten ein top Boot. Karnic 1851 „Eros“. Es war alles neu, sauber und gepflegt. Tolle, bequeme Liegekissen und eigene Süßwasserdusche an Bord.
Das Team von Geroge‘s Watersports war sehr höflich, nett und professionell. Man wird aus dem Hafen raus chauffiert, so dass auch Fahranfänger problemlos ein Boot mieten können. Ein Safety Boot fährt die Buchten ab und hilft jederzeit beim Ankern o.ä.
Es war ein toller Tag auf dem Boot und ich kann George‘s Watersports uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We have used George’s boats for a few years now and can only reiterate how good and efficient the service is. We hired their Elysian boat today for the three of us. It’s a lovely medium size boat, they have a good service at the port and at the various locations along the coast with a rescue boat helping and checking on everyone. Fantastic day, thanks guys.

If you are a resident of more than 30 days in Cyprus you need to hold the Cyprus boat License.

Do you need a boat license to hire these boats?

Hi Mark,
The Cyprus Law says that visitors of Cyprus (Tourists) are covered to rent and drive a boat as long as you are holder of a valid car driving License and after completing our mandatory Safety and Driving Instructions (about 30 min) before departure.

Our son loves boats, He's in a wheelchair and cannot weight bare at all.
Do you have any boats that would be suitable?
He will be able to sit on a chair/bench on board.
It would be the icing on the cake if we could make this happen.
