We had the pleasure of getting a tour in English for two families. It was very interesting and our tour guide was engaging. After seeing the castles at Neuschwanstein this castle was a great distinction. Even if you go to the “grander” ones, do not miss this one!

Shadow Castle is probably the highlight of a visit to Feldkirch. The castle can be visited and in the various rooms you get an insight into what life was like back then. Impressive from my side was the weapons collection. While you're there, it's worth a visit. But it's not worth going a long way either.

We had a lovely meal on a cosy evening on Friday and today, Sunday, I looked at the bill and oops, one beer and one too many cheese spaetzle... then when we left we got a 5 Fr tip from the waiter and he asked impertinently if he could get a coffee for that?

We visited this beautiful castle on a Monday so the museum within was closed. However the castle is an excellent place to visit in Feldkirch. Seeing the different stages of its development, the internal wooden balconies etc. As well as the excellent views to be had from the castle.

Schattenburg castle constructed on a small hill was a very interesting place with a long history. Loads of historical items were on display creating lot of enthusiasm to learn more. There was so much history to be learnt and spending a few hours at this venue was very fruitful. Castle precinct was very close to the city just close to the highway tunnel entrance and walking distance from many hotels. From outside it looked like another European castle on a hill but since seeing it we felt that it was a good decision we made to pay a visit. In our opinion it a must see place if one is visiting Feldkirch.

Well-preserved castle, in an elevated position, from which you can admire the city and its surroundings. Interesting and well kept museum. It's worth a visit

Super gut erhaltene Burg. Tolles Rätsel für die Kinder, so dass die auch viel Freude beim Besuch hatten. Dieser Museumsbesuch lohnt sich wirklich

Leider hatte ich einen Ausfall meines Netzes(A1) und konnte die Informationen nicht abfragen. Erst mitten in der Burg erfährt an, dass es WLAN gibt. Das sollte beim Eintritt stehen. Die Burg ist gut erhalten und einen Besuch wert.

Mooi gebouw, opgeknapt in originele staat. Vol met trappen, gangetjes, houten overlopen, enz. Veel materialen en schilderijen als aankleding.met een QR code kun je achtergrondinfo krijgen bij elke ruimte. Niet in het Nederlands! Aanrader!

Один из самых романтических замков Австрии, который нужно обязательно посетить. Он прекрасно восстановлен, тут музей с прекрасными интерьерами - тоже одними из лучших в Австрии.
