Interessante Geschichte auf für Kleinkinder super.

Sehr interessante Geschichte und Fahrzeuge. Immer wieder gibt es Spielstationen um die Physik zu verstehen. Der Ubahnsimulator ist sehr cool.

Visit to Vienna

Interesting museum a lot on display, some interactive. enjoyed the bus and U Bahn simulators. Display information all in German with some English translation. Looked as if there may have been an audio trail available, we weren’t offered anything and perhaps we should have asked if there was one.
Worth a couple of hours to see the exhibits. No cafe just a couple of vending machines for beverages. Limited opening times, check before you go to make sure it’s open.

Very good for transport buffs

This museum is quite small but features plenty of exhibits and hands-on activities. If you are interested in transport and are in Vienna it is well worth a visit.

Empfehlung für jedermann

Wir sind über den Vienna Pass auf das Museum aufmerksam geworben, im Reiseführer stand davon leider nichts. Wir können das Museum allerdings eindeutig weiterempfehlen!

Die gesamte Entwicklung von noch von Pferden gezogenen Waggons bis hin zur modernen Straßen- u. U-Bahn ist wirklich spannend u. mit den vielen Mitmach-Stationen sehr abwechslungsreich gestaltet.

What a great museum!

Myself and son-in-law visited here at the End of November 2019,
both of us transport fans.

Lovely museum, well laid out and easy to navigate. Nice museum shop with some good products.

Well worth a few hours.

Sono rimasto affascinato da questo museo sui trasporti pubblici viennesi, che ripercorre la storia dai primi mezzi a cavallo fino ai giorni nostri. Oltre all’esposizione dei mezzi utilizzati in passato, di cui vi è testimonianza soprattutto di quelli più vicino a noi, ciò che mi ha più colpito è stata l’organizzazione del museo. Si segue un percorso cronologico, ben strutturato, con molti reperti, fotografie ed interattività. Le informazioni principali sono sia in tedesco che in inglese. Decisamente da vedere per gli amanti del tema e che consiglierei a tutti i cittadini di Vienna.

Spannendes Museumserlebnis

Das Museum bietet für alle etwas, Kinder und Erwachsene!
Eine spannende Mischung aus Geschichte, aber auch zum Ausprobieren von technischen Experimenten. Beim U-Bahn Simulator kann man sogar ausprobieren, wie man U-Bahn fährt. Liebevolle Details und Stationen zu den verschiedenen Themen. Auf alle Fälle zum Empfehlen, würde sofort wieder kommen.

Molto intetessante..da vedere

Questo museo ripercorre la storia e l' evoluzione del trasporto tranviario di Vienna e parrebbe non molto entusiasmante..invece si é rivelato assai coinvolgente ripercorrendo la storia del trasportp dalle carrozze all'odierna metro..si entra in una vera e propria rimessa cpn vagoni reali di varie epoche e bacheche interattive in cui ci si può divertire a simulare la guida.
Unica pecca che è praticamente tutto in tedesco...nelle bacheche le didascalie in inglese erano veramente poche e non ci è stata fornita l' audioguida benché all'interno delle teche ci fossero i simboli...
Inoltre appena varcata la soglia dell' uscita abbiamo visto percorrere qualche metro da un vagone in esposizione con sopra alcune persone che stavano visitando con noi.
Ci é dispiaciuto aver saltato quel giretto di prova, ma non era né segnalato né nessuno ce lo ha proposto..sappiate perciò prima di uscire che c'é questa possibilità!
Da vedere comunque!

Super Museum zu den Öffis

Sehr schön gestaltetes Museum zur Geschichte des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs in Wien, von den Anfängen bis zur Gegenwart. Hier gibt es einige Exponate zu sehen und interaktive Möglichkeiten sich dem Thema Verkehr zu nähern. Unter anderem gibt es einen Straßenbahn-Fahrsimulator. Hier kann man gut 2-2,5 Stunden Zeit verbringen. Am Eingang gibt es günstig Getränke zu erwerben. Der Eintrittspreis ist angemessen.
