Beautiful place! Voss is absolutely lovely, surrounded by stunning scenery. Wish I'd had more time here on my trip. Can recommend Voss Taxi, Kayak Voss and Voss Gondola.
Friendly people, good range of shops and nice places to eat. Visit Voss! I will definitely return!

Voss is a beautiful with scenic views in every direction. The train ride to Voss to Bergen was easy and beautiful. If you like extreme sports there is paragliding. There are good restaurants with a surprising variety of cuisines. Definitely worth a visit!

First visit t Voss. They have managed to maintain downtown without new malls and chain stores. Local stores and restaurants is a bonus! The old church from 1200 is worth a visit, and the gondola from the center to the mountain some 800 meters above sea level was a good experience. We also had a good walk I. The mountain above the tree limit.

We stayed about 6km outside of town overlooking a small lake. It was so quiet and beautiful. Voss also sits on a small lake. There are some great restaurants and a decent grocery store in Voss. They do offer a ride up a sky tram to a mountain. It was a little pricey (about $45 USD per person as I recall) so we opted not to take the trip on the sky tram. Voss offers a small town feel.

Cidade próxima de Bergen. Bem cuidada com paisagens muito verdes. Leves chuvas no verão mas que não comporometem o passeio. Vale a pena visitar.

We did the Norway in a Nutshell tour by buying the tickets on our own 3 months before the trip in Sep 2019. Voss was the first stop in the tour, after setting off from Bergen. The ticket costed us NOK 432 for two people. For those doing the same, we sat on the left side of the train which gave us pretty good views (although not as spectacular as the ones you will see later in the tour).
We spent around 20 minutes around the Voss station taking photos since it was a nice day and there were stores near the bus station to Gudvangen to spend your time, if you chose to.

Piccola città di montagna con l’accesso agli impianti al modico prezzo di 40€ a testa... La passeggiata lungo “lago” (è un'insenatura ma sembra un laghetto di montagna) è molto piacevole, anche il borgo è carino seppur non troppo caratteristico.

Had a wonderful few days in the stunning town of Voss. Hiked up the very steep path to the ski lifts and beyond to small lake, beautiful swimming. Views are just super stunning.
Made most of Norway’s wild camping policy and just parked camper van. The huge lake at bottom was crystal clear to swim in too.
Saw an eel (bit scared!) and drinks in bars are hugely expensive to us poor British pound buyers!!

Was it worth it to take the more expensive shore excursion from the ship to see Voss vs. Myrdal? For those who traveled in June was it cold?

I'm visiting Voss across New Year's, and will be staying at the Hostel, and am without a car. I understand there's a free ski buss that goes up to Voss Resort once in the morning, and back to Voss centre at the end of the day, but are there other means of transport around Voss?
