Un bellissimo percorso da fare in auto per gustarsi il panorama tutto intorno. E' sicuramente una tappa importante se siete in zona quindi vi consiglio assolutamente di non perdervela.

Jendemstoppen er en flott fjelltur. 3 km hver vei. 654 moh. Fjellet er formet som en pyramide og man går langs fjellryggen hele veien. Etter tregrensa er passert er utsikten fantastisk. Fra toppen ser man store deler av Romsdal, fjellene på Sunnmøre og hav så langt øyet rekker. Parkering er skiltet og gratis.

En fantastisk flott tur,som passer godt for de fleste,som har litt turerfaring.
Jeg har guidet turglade over her,og de har aldri opplevd en finere fjelltur enn dette.jeg selv,har gått her 7 ganger,og gleder meg alltid til en ny.her får du det meste av opplevelser,med storslått natur,og spektakulær utsikt,over de flotte fjellpartiene i Romsdal.

We had an awful Airbnb host in Romsdal. Then there's all the rural people trying to run you off the road. The hostility towards foreigners in this area is quite surprising for a country like Norway. Would never visit again as everything in the area is false advertising and entitlement.

This trip is certainly worth the money. The food was excellent and the staff can’t do enough for you. We went on the VIP cruise and it was adults only so you could relax without worrying about kids running around. The stops for swimming were lovely and there was snorkels, kayaks and floats for guests to use. I wasn’t well on the trip and the staff went all out to make me comfortable and kept checking on me. They really go that extra mile to make your trip enjoyable. They also have on board entertainment who get the guests going. Well done to Captain and crew because you are a credit to your company.

Molde probably got the best panoramic view! Fjords, mountains and blue sky. (Last one is irregular, as in Norway)

There are endless places to go for day trips and hikes around Molde. One of our favorites is the Molde Panorama VIew at the end of the Varden. There are signs in town, or just ask how to get to Varden.

For 10 år siden hadde jeg ikke hørt om denne turen. Kanskje ikke for 5 år siden heller....MEN SOM den leverer. DNT skriver "krevende"og 7 timer. Det stemmer absolutt. Både mtp marsjtid, luftighet og nedstigning. Men absolutt ikke uoverkommelig. Her vandret barn, unge, eldre og hunder! Vi valgte å ta turen om Blånebba som kostet oss 1t15min ekstra. Fin avstikker. Vi var utrolig heldig med været og hadde både mildvær og sikt hele dagen! Fantastisk panoramaskue mesteparten av turen. Vi gikk mot Åndalsnes sentrum og fikk den største utfordringen på nedstigningen fra 700 m og ned. Dette er ikke for utrente bein!
Men alt i alt en fantastisk opplevelse. Terningkast 6.

We hired a car from Andalsnes and drove the mountain trail to the top where we took our photos. Its an amazing site and well worth the drive. a great day out.

Beautiful drive, a little scary for me, but go slow, take lots of pics, you can go in glass corner thru the walkway, places to picnic and hike , so beautiful.

I haven’t been in May, but I expect that the Varden hike is awesome that time of year. If you only have 4 hours, I’m assuming you’re on a cruise? If so the museum that has buildings and architecture that will be available to you as an excursion is very interesting and right on the path you take up the hill to hike to Varden.

Is there a map which some can suggest which we can use to drive up to the top, get the view and pictures and drive back ?

There is a posted map on site and they are extremely friendly and there is a gift shop -once you drive to the top there are a couple of stops for the people to take all the pIctures - there is a mini hiking trail as well there are tables outside to eat - try to google or you tube the site
