Wow!....visiting Stavanger on a cruise. Original trip booked with Cunard was cancelled,(no reason given). We went straight to the company on the quayside 500 m from ship. Signed up for first trip at 10 am...whilst sun still shining. This turned out to be a great decision as sunshine on Fjord cliffs at it's best. Axel was the Skipper/pilot and he was great fun from the start. V funny and informative and his rock music choices not half bad! Waterfalls, Pulpit Rock, tax evaders cave, great scenic sights. Magnificent views from start to finish. Fabulous fun on a very fast rib and warm due to wet suit and goggles. If you only do one thing in Stavanger then do this trip, you won't regret it.

Fantastic trip! And Alex a pleasant and enthusiastic driver! We brought both eagle, copper and not least the Lysefjord.

Our original booking had been cancelled - but we only found this out when we arrived on the ship. However, we managed to book onto the final ride of the day. After lunch we went to go on this.....and were not disappointed with the views, just the weather (v wet) and that we were back 30 minutes after our due time and only got back with 10 minutes to spare for embarkation! If you do go, book on the ship or get the morning or lunchtime trip.

Not only were the views magnificent, the rib driver made the experience so much fun with great music for some of the ride, up close experiences with nature and fun maneuvers with the boat that gave us a safe thrill!

Wonderful, exhilarating experience! We were provided wetsuits(basically a waterproof snowsuit kind of thing) that was comfortable to wear and kept us warm. You wear your normal clothes underneath. Thrilling ride that at the same time one felt safe with our excellent experienced guide. We saw several waterfalls up close, ie a couple meters away. Guide also stopped a few times to point out wildlife, seals, eagles, mountain goats etc. great ride we heartily recommend this ride.

Fantastic trip start to finish. Lovely friendly staff at the meeting point where you're given your wet weather gear and life jacket. We were then collected by our Skipper Julie who was very professional, funny & knowledgable and led to our Rib which seated 12. You cover a large distance and have multiple opportunities to get photos and ask questions. Our trip was fun, safe & wet (the weather changed).

Loved this trip from start to finish. Our skipper Aksel was funny, informative and friendly. We saw beautiful sights and animals. Would highly recommend this.

The RIB tour with Eric was great! It was absolutely worth it! Good explanations at the stops. The fast sections were super cool! Good mood on the boat! Always happy to return

Absolutely amazing. Staff super friendly and our skipper was fantastic! Think his name was axel?? The trip was fabulous, some lovely views of waterfalls and pulpit rock and would highly recommend. The heavens opened up on the way back which made the experience even more exciting, zipping through the water! Come Rain or shine this tour is well worth it.

Hi we're visiting on a cruise in August; are you far away from where the ships dock? Also do the boats make you feel seasick??!! as they are clearly very bouncy. Sorry for the silly questions lol

We are docked just a few hundred meters from where the cruiseships dock.
The bouncing is soft and gentle. No one get seasick on our boats, we promise.
