Ludo est un passionné de plongée.
Chez lui on plonge en toute sécurité et on n à le plaisir de naviguer dans un bateau très confortable avec un skipper très sympathique qui ce met en quatre pour vous rendre le voyage agréable.j
Je recommande ce club de plongée !!!

With so many dive centres across the island we had a hard time choosing. We contacted over 7 centres in total. We were actually staying in the Balaclava area and there were loads of local nearby centres that we could’ve picked which would’ve been more conveniently located to where we were staying, but we just had a gut feeling Octopus would be worth the 30min drive each time. We decided Octopus would be best suited for us - I’m so glad we did, it turned out to be the best decision we ever made.
I contacted Ludo via WhatsApp and he replied immediately. He provided all the information we had hoped for and more. We had an itinerary in mind and preferred days for diving. He was very accommodating and all our requests were met.
Ludo and the entire team are just amazing! They’re very experienced, knowledgable, professional, friendly and passionate about diving. Any pre dive anxieties melted away as soon as we got to the shop. After 3 days of diving we felt like extended family and it was sad to say goodbye.
We’ve been fortunate enough to dive in some of the best locations around the world; Thailand, Maldives, The Great Barrier Reef (Australia) to name a few, but the sites Ludo took us to were all better than anywhere we’ve ever been.
We had Nadeem on 4 dives, Ludo for the 5th and Sinta for no. 6. All incredibly experienced instructors or dive masters. The groups were always kept small. Normally you’d have the same guide the entire time but due to the sites we wanted to visit and schedules it wasn’t possible. Normally that would be a concern for us but not at all here. Each dive got better and better and our skills continually improved. Every dive really was amazing, we felt relaxed and safe the entire time. The boat and equipment used is in good condition. The days started and ended according to plan, everything was very well organised, executed and ran like clock work.
On our 4th dive with Nadeem we were so lucky to encounter a whale shark not once but twice. This is a super rare sighting. When we surfaced Nadeem told us the last time he saw one was over 5yrs ago and he even travelled to Panama to see them but was unsuccessful. It was the most magical underwater moment, our entire group was dancing for joy underwater - Nadeem was crying with happiness in his mask (sorry for telling all bro). When you get to experience something so special and unique like that you have this instant connection and bond with the people that you were with. We’ll never forget it, I’m so grateful 🙏🏼🥹.
What made it even more special was everyone who dived with Octopus that day saw the whale shark. There were huge celebrations and cheers back on the boat.
Lauren and I would like to say a big thank you and special mention to Ludo, Nadeem, Sinta, Marta, Deborah and Eric. Sorry if you didn’t get a mention, there’s more people we’d like to credit but can’t remember everyone’s names.
You guys are the best in the business and we wouldn’t go anywhere else - we hope we’re fortunate enough to get the chance to dive with you again. We’ll be sure to recommend you to anyone thinking of diving in Mauritius. No matter where you are on the island, this dive centre should be your first choice.

Super club. Bonne communication sur whatsapp pour la logistique.
Très bons conseils et à bien pris le temps de re expliquer les bases à mon épouse pour avoir une bonne expérience de plongée.
Équipement correct.
Vraiment à conseiller, si je replonge dans le
Nord je retourne la sans hésiter.

Je recommande mille fois ce club de plongée.
Ma soeur et moi avons été chez eux pour faire 2 plongée en tant que Niveau 2, le moniteur nous a emmenés exprès sur un beau site parce qu’il savait que nous viendrons et que c’était notre première à Maurice, les spots proposés étaient top, une équipe à l’écoute, très amiable et serviable.
Notamment Stephan qui s’est occupé de nous, nous a conseillé, il avait l’oeil pour la sécurité.
L’équipe aussi m’a aidé à nombreuse reprise puisque cela faisait un an que je n’avais pas plongé donc ils ont été très compréhensifs, très sécuritaires.
Je recommande vivement Octopus !

Très bon club de plongée ! Nous y sommes allés un peu par hasard en cherchant un club afin de pouvoir profiter des vacances pour plonger. Aucun regret , ambiance très sympa, ils nous ont amené sur de beaux spots afin de nous faire découvrir leur fonds marins. Et pour couronner le tout , je suis ravi d'avoir eu stephane comme moniteur durant la plongée. Compétent, calme , professionnel et très sympathique avec qui j'ai apprécié nos échanges.

Excellent dive center. Very professional staff, good equipment and very good boat. Dives are well organized, people are matched based on skills and experience. Highly recommended.

Ludo and his wonderful team made our last diving day in Mauritius just perfect :-) small group, very good boat and equipment and super nice spots...they even realised our wish to go to turtle point spontaneously! Ludo also offered us a transfer by himself from our nearby hotel. We absolutely recommend this dive center and need to come back :-)

Un énorme merci à Ludo et à toute son équipe pour l’accompagnement précieux et rassurant lors de ma toute première plongée. Ils ont su me rassurer, m’encadrer et m’accompagner avec un professionnalisme sans faille! Je recommande vivement! Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Hello,
We would like to know if it is possible to follow a training in French .We planned to come in feb 2020 and try to get the advanced open water .We have not dived for a while so I guess , we will need a dive or 2 as to refresh first ;-) We wll be located at Bel air but we will probably move la grande Baie for the 3 days . Thanks for your answer .Siham and Benjamin

Hi , on Sunday we don't open normally but if we have min 4 divers for two tank dive we will open :)
