All the Welsh churches in Llandudno successfully united in the year 2000 and chose to worship together in this Church. It is now called The Llandudno United Welsh Church ,uniting the Baptists,,.Methodists,Independents and Presbyterians..Usually there are between 80-100 attending the Welsh services which are held 10.30am every Sunday morning together with the thriving Sunday School...
All are warmly welcome to the services in this beautiful church with its magnificent organ.

Hubby and I were in Llandudno on a recent sunny Monday afternoon. We walked passed the new Travelodge on Gloddaeth Street and noticed this Grade 2 listed building on the corner of the crossroads. It was built in 1905. We liked the cream and red sandstone, the twin towers and leaded windows. It is 2 storeys high with an internal gallery and seats 1000 people so that makes it the largest chapel in Llandudno.

Large historic Welsh chapel on two levels with an extensive balcony. Services are in Welsh language. A range of general concerts, Cymanfa Ganu ( Welsh hymn singing festival ) attracting audiences of hundreds each time for visitors and locals. We saw the excellent Cor Alaw ( mixed SATB choir) give a varied programme, with soloists from the choir and special guest singer/song writer/ recording artist Caryl Parry Jones. This review is of the CONCERT and the VENUE where admission was by ticket. Clearly chapel services are free
