AVOID air is dreadful o character. Very expensive restaurants. Dirty pavements and nothing to do or see.

The Ipswich Waterfront is a great place for a walk, a sundowner or a meal at one of the many restaurants. There are also several very good cafe’s and restaurants serving breakfast and cream teas. The Salt House Hotel provides an excellent all round experience with great views of the waterfront and marina from both the indoor and outdoor restaurant seating. The sunsets are spectacular on the waterfront and the boating activity is always interesting. If you are there for the weekend several pubs and restaurants feature live music and it is an easy walk into the town or to Christchurch Park.

Love it down here. Lots of places to drink and eat. Great vibe and lovely to people (and yacht!) watch. University of Suffolk even has a cafe too on the waterfront.

Me and my friend booked a table after reading the positive reviews. After eating, my friend had an awful stomachache due to staff not listening to their allergies. When I asked to see the manager, the owner of the restaurant clearly didn’t care enough about their customers to deal with the issue. Very disappointed and won’t be visiting again.

Don’t get confused this town is a literal sh*t hole. Neighbouring towns has more to have compared to Ipswich.
Ipswich has one main night club, a bunch of restaurants are getting shut down due to cost of living and lastly this place is so run down you’d mistake yourself to be in zombie land.

Always wanted to visit here and i’m glad i did but wouldnt rush back. The boats and that are nice to look at but there isnt much here really. The odd restaurant or cafe. Tried to go pizza express but they were ‘fully booked’ with 3 tables being used lol so we walked into the town and went botanist which was fab.

Overated, nothing to really see or do, a few coffee places odd place to eat, but that's it. Was going to go for river cruise, turns out it's about twice a week

If you search IP3 0FR, there are around 3 car parks at this location due to it being the postcode belonging to the student accommodation Athena Hall.
All 3 are paid car parks and are extremely strict with times. Although strict, they are dead on the waterfront and very close to student spots as well as favourites of the locals.

Yes, if you google Ipswich waterfront car parking, you will find a map with all the nearest car parks.
I’m needing to get from Ipswich to Framlingham on August 25th and I see the Uber isn’t available there. The train only goes to Wickham Market that day and I’m not sure if taxis are there to finish the journey. Can anyone tell me if taxis travel from Ipswich to Framlingham? Taxis in Wickham Market? Any help is appreciated.
