We had our wedding party at Trotters, it was the perfect venue for our crowd of about 70. Mark & the team there had everything set up & laid out exactly as we’d asked for, the food was great, huge selection of drinks & we could sort our own music out. Lots of comments from our guests about what a great venue it was.

Emma I want to thank you for helping me out last night. Friendly and welcoming is an understatement, that goes for the establishment and the people! Regardless of the fact my stay was short, I thoroughly appreciated the hospitality of Trotters Bar, and of course, the lovely Emma. I will be back again in the near future.

We had breakfast here midweek and were the only customers. The lady behind the counter was very pleasant and the breakfast and cappuccino enjoyable.

I can’t praise Trotters enough - absolutely amazing place & staff.
We held a private party here & they couldn’t of been anymore helpful & friendly - all with super service!
That answered any questions we had, nothing seemed to much trouble.
All our guests had a fabulous time & what a great location with plenty of hotels nearby.
We’ve been here for lunch a few times previously & always been delighted.
Can’t praise enough !!

Visited trotters for a private party , it’s a great venue with a bar at the entrance and then plenty of room for a dj and a dance floor and buffet area .Its a long narrow venue but seem to flow and work well for a private party .They probably could have done with a couple of people behind the bar ,however the barman did well .The toilets are upstairs so wouldn’t recommend if you have walking disabilities .A good place for a small party .

I had a meal here a month ago and I was disgusted with the service and food! Not to mention the drinks, the coke did not even taste like coke, more like toilet water. Stuff where unbelievably rude to myself and other customers on other tables! Would never visit again or recommend!

Visited again with a friend for lunch. As always food was good with very efficient service which is what you need for lunch time. The prawn and avocado salad is always good. Reasonable price.

Recently visited and had some lunch with a few friends and I can simply say NEVER AGAIN!!! we have just started university close by and were looking for a nice close by place to eat during the next 3 years. However, the lady behind the bar was very nice when we first went in there (of course she was taking our money) there was 4 of us eating but a friend brought a lunch with her as she has very specific dietary needs due to EXTREME allergy’s and doesn’t like to take risks eating in unfamilar places and due to their not being any signs saying “no outside food” didn’t see how this would be an issue. However within 5 minutes the lady from behind the bar came flying over and was absolutely HORRIBLE, I have never experienced nothing like it. It literally felt like we were being shouted at by a teacher or something. She could of at least said it nicely but she was damn right rude and had such a bad attitude. There was nothing nice about the woman other than when she was taking our money! Probably the reason she took our money as soon as we walked through the door rather than at the end (like a normal place) I assume she felt she could speak to us with no respect just because we are students as she talked down to us and was a all round horrible woman. We were initially planning on making this a often place to have lunch, but after the lack of respect or customer service we DEFINETELT WILL NOT BE BACK !!!

I recently visited the area for a business meeting. A colleague and I had stumbled upon this place and thought we would grab a bit to eat for lunch before our meeting.
The service was good. Food quality was pretty good. It was a tad bit pricey for what it was but we did enjoy the lunch experience.
If in that part of town again, I would certainly stop by and have something to eat. The food was fresh and I appreciated that.
