we go here often, its such a nice plae, the staff are just so lovely and helpful. lost my wallet....they found it and called me up.....booked tickets, got covid, cancelled, they gave me credit on the tickets. such a nice place to visit!

The Connaught Theatre is situated in the centre of Worthing.
It has quite comfortable seating with good views of the stage, in much of the theatre.
There is a large stage with a raised floor, a good sound system and lighting.
A bar is available and ice cream is sold during the break. Overall it’s a good place to see a show.
In the same building there is a cinema showing many types of films.

Not happy with the studio cinema, the main theatre has a bar but the drinks were very expensive a bottle of beer (half a pint) was £4.50p, which is extortionate, I was told there was a lift up to the balcony and it appeared there wasn’t, seats were uncomfortable, and sound was very very loud for the size of the venue, could hardly hear the script of the film so disappointing all round, I will just add that the toilet roll in the ladies was jammed and couldn’t be pulled out and in the men’s toilet you couldn’t open the door fully because there was a large rubbish bin behind it, we will not be visiting again which it is a shame because it’s one of our local attractions

First and last visit to the connaught theatre. Foyer total mayem my husband was stuck in his wheel chair in-between lots of people . I asked staff for help but they seemed uninterested and didn't have a clue and finally got to talk to manager after several requests and he had the biggest chip on his shoulder bad attitude . Never returning . Tip get staff that can actually do something and a caring manager he seemed more worried about his headphones on his head than sorting out the problem

We went to see a quiet place. My girlfriend is visually impaired so uses audio description when watching in the cinema.
Unfortunately there was something up either the headsets so they weren't working.
As the film suggests it wasn't practical for me to read out the subtitles and describe what was happening so left
We spoke with the connaught the following and rebooked tickets.
When we arrived the tickets had been refunded, we were allowed to get free drinks and snacks from the kiosk.
This was such good customer service and I cannot have wanted anything else.
Unbelievable service

My favourite cinema in Worthing! I love the ambience, the staff are so friendly and the snacks/drinks are very reasonably priced.

A great opportunity to see a current film at a reasonable price. This Silver Screen visit gives you tea or coffee and biscuits to enjoy with the film. A nice way to spend a cold wintry day! And the Whodunnit was a good film with an all star cast.

Easily bopked tickets online and picked up at Box Office. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely man on refreshment kiosk. Very reasonable prices on drinks etc. Good sound and comfy seats. Well done the Connaught.

We love all the Worthing Theatres venues but we particularly appreciate the Connaught's history and connection with famous actors. Today we saw the above and we could not believe that we were watching an amateur production. The singing of all members was beautiful and there were some outstanding voices amongst those playing the main characters. The choreography was amazing and it was great to see so many involved in quite complicated dance moves. The Orchestra was excellent and the scene changing, lighting and sound were faultless too. I realize that many of the performers must have had time off work to be involved. Well done, all of you. Very much appreciated. Andrew Taylor must be so proud of you, Feel sure that he was watching over you. I do hope that the Choreographer will be involved with WMCS again.

Yes. If the screening is in the Connaught Studio – you can leave in the downstairs foyer. Or if in the main Connaught Theatre – you can ask a member of staff to store this for you either in the foyer area or at the back of the stalls. Enjoy the show!
