“Lovely”

打电话来探亲的时候在伍尔弗汉普顿,一个多么可爱的地方; 很棒的酒店和工作人员热情地欢迎了我们并给了我们很多信息。 一边走一边正式的花园是个亮点,还有很多可爱的灌木和花和一些很棒的小世外桃源的地方。 打电话到咖啡馆喝一杯; 再一次感觉到温暖和热情。 有一个摇滚事件上是额外的奖赏。 真希望我们能住得更久一些。 我们肯定还会再来。

Looks like it's been renovated! Not Original!

Although its free to enter! I feel Bantock House is quite empty and there's not much too see! The cafe showed it closes at 5pm but when we arrived about 3:30pm one of the workers said they are closed! We had a nice walk around the park in chilly conditions!

TALK AND WALK

We enjoyed walking round the grounds and garden areas. Its a great place to go and get away for an hour. We hope to visit the cafe next time we go and also experience visiting the museum.We cannot believe we have lived in Wolverhampton all are lives and only just visited Bantock house.

Beautiful Garden/Ground

The Garden and grounds to this Museum House is sheer beautiful, with variety of Sweet smell roses.
We explored the woodland garden which now forms part of a nature trail around the park

Good place to meet friends for coffee

Pleasant place to sit on a nice sunny day, beautiful gardens. Breakfast was nice the last time I ate there.

A day trip to some where different

I would suggest an hour and a half is enough time to enjoy the cafe that serves hot and cold food/drink, look round the house and enjoy the gardens which has a children's park. Good selection of historic artifacts and information, the house decor is excellent and really gives you a feel of what life used to be like. Great place for a day trip when you want to get out and go somewhere different.

Well used historic house

Glad this house, with outbuildings, is free to visit and in public/community ownership.
Interesting to look round, but couldn't appreciate it all, as busy christmas fair taking place. Pleased to find a delightful historic toilet that could be used!

Picknic in the park

We had a great day out on the lawn having a picknic and looking around the house, we have been befor to eat in the cafe, there was a craft fair that day, icant wait for the summer to do it again.

excellent and free to enter

Well worth a visit. Well done Wolverhampton for free entery. Cafe for snack too and gardens to sit in. History of area brilliant and children (and adults!) are encouraged to try some of the exibits (example and old organ) as they are replicas. The nursery is wonderfful for children to go round (they can dress up)
