Yet again I’ve stopped at this place for breakfast after checking their website to ensure they were open only to find breakfast wasn’t being served. I was told by a member of staff it was on Facebook not their website …. Useless if you don’t use Facebook.

Extremely disappointed with the pumpkin picking this year. We visited yesterday (29th) and found near enough no pumpkins left in the fields. We walked to the back field through all the mud to find mainly rotten or broken up pumpkins. We ended up leaving empty handed and going someone else.
The price of pumpkins alone seemed expensive but having paid £2.50 each for entry for an empty field seemed a rip off. It feels like they over sold the experience just for profit when they didn’t have enough produce. Won’t be returning for the pumpkin picking!

Visited with 2 family members. We had drinks and some lunch. Other than the coffee machine being out of order m, the food and drinks were fine.
Let me just preface my next comments by saying that I have been a customer of the farm for about 25 years. Whether it be food from the shop, Christmas trees, plants, fruit and meals in the cafe. Todays visit ended with a visit to the ladies loo, I could not believe my eyes!!! The whole room was filthy, dust on the top of all of the surfaces and the cubicles were disgusting. Every single toilet pan was covered in excrement, none of the toilets flushed and were full of toilet tissue. The shelf at the back of each of the toilet was covered in a thick layer of dust and an air freshener on the shelf was filthy. I was unable to use the facilities due to their condition, they made me feel physically sick at the thought that I had eaten food from a place that had such poor hygiene
I went back into the restaurant and complained to a man with dark hair, he said it was because of the people picking pumpkins and that the toilets are scrubbed every morning. Those toilets had not been cleaned for a VERY LONG TIME!!!
I am so disappointed to have to leave this review. I used to bring my late mom for coffee as it was one of her favourite places, so I have many fond memories of this place. Sadly I won’t be eating or using the facilities at the farm again.
Might I suggest that the toilets are checked periodically through out the day and the time and signature of the checker recorded.

This is a great local farm shop. They have a good butchery counter and even have some organic items for sale in the shop. I can do my full fresh food shop here and love the quality fruit and veg, cheeses and pork pies. You must try their Billy Banger Award Winning Sausages :)

If you live locally then do make the most of the grass-fed local beef, along with high quality lamb and pork. The butchers are great and very knowledgable. Support local farms and the planet (because despite what you hear sustainable farming of ruminants actually benefits our soil and countryside, and is more effective against climate change than having a meat-free diet that requires products to be flown in from all over the world and promotes monocropping which devastates wildlife).

Visited today for afternoon tea to celebrate a friend’s birthday and oh boy did we enjoy it!
The food was delicious, fresh as a daisy and a lovely selection.
The mini Victoria sandwich was a mini tower and absolutely gorgeous.
Definitely 10 out 10 and very good value.

Visited today to catch up with friends. Tables in pleasant Restaurant were well spaced out. Outdoor seating also available.
We started with Morning Coffee and chatted until the Lunch service started at 12pm.
My Lunch of Quiche with New Potatoes, Coleslaw & Salad was very enjoyable. My 3 friends were very happy with their meals chosen from the good selection of food on offer.
We found all the staff we had contact with helpful.
After time spent looking around the extensive Farm Shop my daughter and I returned to the Restaurant and enjoyed Plum Crumble (fresh Victoria Plums of course) and Custard.
I look forward to my next visit here.

Called in here to buy bbq food. 4 white baps £1.75! also beef piri piri kebabs (3) £6.75! which were that salty we couldn't eat them. Over priced and will not return ....

Met up with a friend to get some fruit and have a catch up in the cafe.
Surprised that the PYO was £2 each entry and then almost £7 for a punnet of strawberries. Quite cheeky when they’re advertised in the shop for alot less. I understand you pay for the experience of picking your own and the fun, but still abit steep in my opinion. The farm shop was amazing and had lots of lovely goodies to buy. No negatives on that part, however we went into the cafe to have a cup of tea and a cake and we were very disappointed. A female server watched us sit down and completely ignored us. She noticed a man sit down next to us and gave him a menu/ drinks list. I waited for her to come back with ours and she didn’t. I proceeded to get up and go to the front counter to ask for menus, I was told they weren’t serving food. Why was the man given a food menu but we were told otherwise? I put the rudeness down to them being short staffed but we felt like we just weren’t wanted there. I asked about dairy alternatives and they only had Almond milk.. no cakes or anything that were vegan. A shame really.

Hi, classic afternoon tea and Gentleman's afternoon tea is £14.95 which come with tea/coffee. However, if you want to add Prosecco or local ale it is £18.90. The child's afternoon tea is £8.95. You can call us on 01902 735724 or pop in to the tearoom and book. We don't take online requests as a deposit needs to be made, which is £5 per person.
