It’s good, it’s a bit ramshackle in places which kind of adds to its charm. The only annoying thing is there’s a small army of retirement age blokes who obviously love planes, but they jump on you as soon as you go in one of the planes and ignore the fact you’ve got 2 toddlers running here there and everywhere in order to try and tell you their long (and also quite boring) techy plane information. It’d be better if they asked if you wanted the 10 min speech before just kind of blocking you from looking how you want to look, and telling you no matter what, even if you’re clearly trying to just leave because your 2 year old is climbing off a plane on her own.

Brooklands is a lovely place to visit with friendly and helpful staff providing information at every turn. There's so much to see and so much history behind Brooklands. An excellent place to visit regardless of age. Can happily spend hours on site walking round to cover the enitre area. Overall, a great visit. Happily reccomend.

Been to Brooklands many times and yesterday had a great day looking at the American Cars, however we were mugged at the stand selling Burgers for £30.00 for 2 with 2 drinks. On the menu it said Burgers come with Beef Tomato and salad, not ours, 2 dried up Burgers that were disgusting and ended up in the bin. Advice , avoid the Burger Stand.

Brooklands is famed for its racetrack to the building of aircraft e.g. hurricane fighter planes to parts for the Concorde. Some of the original buildings still stand which contain displays of bicycles, motorcycles, record breaking cars concept McLarens and aircraft. There is also a bus museum. The original clubhouse is now the cafe where you can get a hot drink, cakes etc of if you wish something more substantial, the hot dog with crispy onions was delicious.
We did the Concorde experience, trip around Weybridge in a Routemaster Bus and the hill climb/ trip on part of the banked racing circuit in a sports car, though all these activities require a payment, they were all worth it. this is a brilliant museum and we had a fabulous day. If you do not have a car you can get a taxi from Weybridge Station.

Firstly, had a nightmare of a journey to get to Brooklands and we missed our Concorde experience slot. Thankfully they were able to get us on a later one as it was really interesting and fun. I wish I could have actually flown mach2.
The rest of the museum is a real mix of airplane graveyard, bus depot, wartime hangers and obviously cars. I'd gone with no pre-conceptions and enjoyed the whole vintage feel of the place.
Negative aspect was the cafe and food. We had lunch / afternoon tea vouchers. The later simply being a slice of 'just alright' cake and a drink. Don't be expecting anything fancy.
Highlight however was a ride in a car around the remains of the track, including the hill climb and banked section. This was a total thrill and only realised after we got chatting to one of the car owners. For £5 each I felt this was a bargain and I suggest they market this more effectively!

Very unpleasant day. Went with 4 grandchildren aged for 4 years to 11 years. The place seemed to be staffed by unfriendly and sarcastic people. I felt very stressed the entire time I was there trying to keep the children quiet and stopping them from touching anything. I would not visit again

Really interesting museum. I don't even really like museums but took my son along and found it very interesting myself also. Lovely volunteers. Loved the Concorde experience - WOW learned so much. Son has come away with really cool balloon car and metal aeroplane that he made. My partner also loved the sports cars and motorbikes. One of the best museums I've ever been to. Really really well done. Only thing that could have made it even better would have been a vegan warm option in the cafe, such as vegan cheese ciabatta or something like that. Personally not a fan of fake meat so that left me with pretty meagre food options.

Went with a mate as a surprise trip for him suggested by his wife, primarily to visit the Concorde that his Dad worked on but that he has never got round to flying on, and now of course its too late. Did the Concorde Experience which is a no-brainer, you HAVE to go onboard. For only the third time since 2019 the nose cone was lowered, which was epic. The rest of the museum was amazing as was the bus museum. Just an excellent, long day out, spent 6 hours here. Lots of stuff to make you proud to be British and , quite honestly, humbled in the presence of some amazing achievements. Very reasonable entry fee, excellent food in the Cafe, friendly informed staff throughout. Just a brilliant, British day out. And the weather was perfect.

What a wonderful day!
I am a support worker and took 2 adults with me, one who has autism and the other has learning difficulties.
So much to see and we spent over 5 hours there.
Enjoyed the bus journey…only £3 which we thought was well worth it.
Graham, the conductor gave us our tickets and he was so knowledgeable and friendly throughout, he is an absolute credit! All these lovely volunteers really made the day special.
The gentleman i support with autism really has a keen interest in buses/planes/cars etc and Graham kindly took him to some different buses and they had a great conversation about them. He gave up a lot of his time which I appreciate and so did the gentleman in question.
Also the driver was super friendly, as was the gentleman David, who led us onto our Concorde experience.
There was a younger volunteer called Ben who was on a plane where we could go to see around the cockpit and actually sit in the seats-he and the gentleman I support had a very lengthy conversation about the plane and history with Ben.
As someone who knows very little about planes, it was great to see such a knowledgeable and positive interaction between them.
Cafe was lovely but we had taken a packed lunch. Plenty of benches to sit at. Just bought drinks and cake.
Honestly, if you have an interest in cars/buses/planes then this definitely a place to visit! You won’t be disappointed.
There was a bus simulator experience that my guys enjoyed too.
So much to see and do.
Thanks again to all the volunteers-whether you have a disability or not, they definitely went over and above to make today special. 😁

Today, we went to the museum and had an incredibly informative and wonderful visit. I was inspired to visit after watching a documentary on TV. I was impressed by the high standards of refurbishment, especially in the buses, Wellington airframe, Concorde, and cars. The museum staff were friendly and helpful, providing information at every turn. Overall, the visit exceeded my expectations based on what I had seen on the TV show.

Can I walk directly into the museum/where is the pedestrian access? As I looked on google maps but can't see a clear pedestrian pathway.

You can get to Brooklands on foot.
There's lots of info on getting to Brooklands on their website. Check out the Visit link.
Travelling by train:
The nearest railway station is Weybridge (less than a mile away) which is on the Woking to Waterloo and Staines to Weybridge lines. The Museum is a 20-minute walk from the station, or you can catch one of the local buses from outside the station to the Brooklands Hotel stop (7-minute walk).
Pedestrians from Weybridge Train Station can either walk down Brooklands Road to use the Campbell Gate Entrance off Brooklands Road (this entrance is shared with JTI and signed ‘JTI Members Hill’ - Campbell Gate walking directions), or they can use the new Brooklands Accessibility Scheme shared cycling and walking path to reach the main visitor entrance on Brooklands Drive.
Travelling by bus:
The Falcon bus route 436 serves Woking, Sheerwater, Byfleet, Mercedes-Benz World, Brooklands Hotel and Weybridge Station Monday to Saturday. The Museum is a short walk from the Brooklands Hotel stop.
The Chatterbus serves Leatherhead, Fetcham and Cobham and the Brooklands retail park with a stop at the Museum on Saturdays.
Enjoy your visit!

Not sure if the website is slightly out of date. But do you still need to wear face coverings in confined spaces. Ie Concorde experience.
撰写日期:2022年6月29日
We weren't asked to wear masks anywhere, even the Concorde experience, and that was in June. Some people had them, some didn't, but nobody was making it a requirement. There are still notices and hand sanitiser stations all over the place though.
