“很棒的一天”
我组织了一场原来橄榄球队友的聚会-早上我们玩了一会橄榄球，然后走到车站吃东西、喝东西、聚会-我们有50个人。Mike Stokes帮我们安排的列车，也是他帮我组织的聚会。聚会的条件很棒，有座位，也有站着的地方。菜品和酒水一级棒-员工乐于帮助、很细心。旅程安排的很好，停靠的站点让我们得以欣赏莱斯特乡间的美景-没有比这更好的体验了。

“一个惊喜”
这是我女儿预订的旅行，很惊喜。有很多东西可以看，还可以拍到很多照片。旧车厢很干净，餐车布置得很好。每一张桌子都有编号，所以很容易就可以找到坐的地方，食物丰盛又新鲜。火车旅行持续了大约90分钟，额外的好处是，你想待多久都可以。服务很好，玩得很开心。这是不同的体验，试试吧。你也可以免费把车停在附近的路上。

Don't bother booking the santa experience unless you want to turn up 2hours early! Missed the train due to poor sinage missing from 2 junctions. (Apparently not their problem) No parking on arrival for children with disabilities. Took 2 days for bookings to get back to me about rearranging a missed train. Have to search their site for terms and conditions (not advised of these upon booking) lost £94 because I can't rebook and pay extra or refund. Disgusting service from the bookings manager. Go to Butterly instead much more family friendly venue

The staff were great but.....
being served boxed cold fish,chips & mushy was not worth £33 each ,going back & forth on the train.

Top, top class experience.

We were visiting our daughter in Leicester and wanted the "something a little different" for Sunday lunch; as I was raised by a steam enthusiast, osmosis must have worked a little bit .. as when Great Central Railway showed up as an option, we snapped at it!
So glad we did. The Welcome team at the entrance were so welcoming, so helpful. The loco crew went above and beyond when answering questions and posing for photos.
The waiting team were just so efficient. The food was so tasty (all options). The carriage was so atmospheric with the linen cloths and silver cutlery.
Entering Loughborough Station was like going back to childhood with the posters, luggage and the "smell" of the steam.
Cannot praise Great Central Railway highly enough. A very big Thank You to all who gave us a wonderful experience, both "front of house" and behind the scenes.

Simply the best

We had the most amazing evening on the beautiful steam train on Saturday 4 November from the time we arrived to the time we departed the staff and the excellent food was just amazing. Would like to say a very big thank you to Andey who made our experience even more special he certainly knows how to make you feel special so attentive. We had a wonderful carriage and everything was perfect. Would recommend this to anyone something you just got to do. Thank you so much and looking forward to the next one. Jan and Carl.

Great Central Railway fireworks display

Had a really good evening. My wife uses a walker and we got ushered to the disabled viewing area, front row, and a seat provided for me too. The fireworks were first class and the staff very helpful.

Steam train Sunday special

This was a Sunday lunch steam train trip. Being older it brought back so many memories from my childhood, the station was fitted out exactly exactly as I can remember to the smallest detail. The trip was superb, very nostalgic, the Sunday roast was honestly one of the best I have had out ( & I'm very fussy) the staff are really just the best, they really do care & want to give you the best time. They make you feel special.

1st class dinning on The Charnwood Forrester.

Had the most wonderful trip on The Charnwood Forrester. We arrived slightly late and thought we had missed the train, but the wonderful Station Manager Malcolm came to our rescue. He kindly called the Andrew the Food Manager and they allowed us to join the train at Rothley Station. So after a quick drive we were able to board the train. Malcolm kindly followed to open the gates and show us across the tracks.
The staff on the train were lovely, the service was 1st class and the food was delicious.
Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will certainly do it again.

Master Cutler experience

Despite living quite locally until the steam event early October I hadn’t been on the trains. The event was really good and prompted me to book the Master Cutler for late October.
It was amazing - fantastic food and wonderful service. We boarded the train at 7.15 from Loughborough and returned there at 10pm. We had starter, main, dessert, cheese, then tea/coffee.
I will definitely be booking again and recommending this to everyone! The only niggle was I found it hard to book online but following contacting them they sorted it all out for me on the phone. 5* service!

Excellent-went with friends for the Lunchtime Dining Experience. Great food, lovely staff, nice journey and lovely to see how the station has been maintained in its historical style. A very different experience and well worth doing!

Lovely day from start to finish

We were two couples on a table of four. Really well organised from start to finish. We boarded the train and sat at our table within five minutes we had our drink’s order in. The waiting staff were fabulous,very friendly and nothing too much trouble. The food was beautifully presented, lovely and hot and tasty. It was all in all a very pleasant day and good value for money. I’m not a train enthusiast by any means but I felt special today. Thank you
