I was sceptical about going because I don’t like caged birds. But I am totally convinced that this place has 💯 got the birds welfare at heart. Daisy (daughter of the owner) was informative. Passionate & has grown up with these amazing birds. I am truly a fan of Vultures & learnt so much from this experience. I will definitely be coming back to support the cause. Keep up the amazing work. Really proud of you all ❤️

Hidden gem

Lovely place to visit, bit of a hidden gem. Lovely birds to see and we enjoyed the flying display and meet and greet.
Nice little play area and small cafe. An enjoyable few hours for a Sunday afternoon

Great day out

We travelled an hour and a half to get here, and we were not disappointed. The shows (there were 4 of them) were all different and all very informative. Jake and Laura were very knowledgeable and great hosts.

Great day out with friends. Very different than going to a coffee shop lol!

Great family day out

Visited here with my boyfriend and stepdaughter. It’s well worth it, the variety of birds is great, we saw some that I have not seen anywhere else. The displays were really good with knowledgeable, friendly staff. It was quiet too which was a bonus. Only thing is, is that there is no on site cafe. There is a garden centre which is next door and we went in but we’re told they were fully booked (it was empty and like I said the centre was quiet). We ended up in Knutsford so time was right between the shows but I would suggest taking a picnic. Great day out though!

Have heard from friends about here who have been for photography experiences. What an excellent place. The lady on the reception was very helpful.
The talks and the flying experience were amazing learning about the birds.
Highly recommended.

Great family day out

Great day from start to finish , young fella on reception was very welcoming and friendly (shame he is leaving) , the show was amazing , the 2 hosts were great 👍, me and my son had a great day 🕊️

Worth the visit and for.a great charity

Fantastic Cheshire day out

I've known about this place for years but always assumed it was just somewhere that did private falconry experiences but on looking for somewhere to take my daughter at half-term this came up as an attraction. Reviews looked good and not too expensive so thought it was worth a try.

I am a huge bird enthusiast and I've got to say that this is one of the best days out I've had in a very long time - couldn't fault it from start to finish and would thoroughly recommend it. £10.50 for adults, £8.50 for children. For a full day out this was amazingly good value for money.

I was a little bit worried about it being a very small centre and how well the birds would be treated - I can't bear to see animals being used unnecessarily purely for commercial purposes but this isn't anything like that at all.

I couldn't quite believe the amount of different species that are at the centre - my daughter absolutely loves eagles and to see a Golden Eagle, a Sea Eagle and a Bald Eagle absolutely made her day - especially with some of them in the flying display too, it was such a treat to see how much she enjoyed it! Gail, Gerald and the hilarious Kevin were particular highlights of mine!

Each one of the birds is lovingly looked after by a small group of caring, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable staff. Jake, in particular, who led the the talks/flying displays was really engaging, his passion for the subject and the conservation of birds was second to none and you could see how established his bond is with all the birds, it was very sweet.

The timings of the day worked really well - I was worried that it might seem slow or that we'd only be there for an hour or two but we were there from 11am - 3.30pm and were not bored once or felt like we were waiting around too much! In between the shows was ample time to see all the birds and other animals, as well as a great play area for kids. Coffee from the small café and gift shop allowed us to warm up a bit from the cold (with a very enthusiastic member of staff working there who was really happy to answer all my questions).

Really looking forward to going back in the summer and seeing the spectacular flying displays from a lot of the other birds. Some of the other experiences look very tempting too!

Cruel treatment of polecat during show

We really enjoyed our visit until one of the shows where they showed us a pole cat. They said it didn’t hurt the polecat but they held it up in front of the audience swinging it and bending it to show us how flexible it was. Whilst everyone laughed. Seemed cruel. Even if it didn’t hurt I don’t think it was a nice experience for the pole cat at all. It seemed cruel.
