We loved it! We were in Fowey in August 2021 and initially thought we wouldn’t do the tour. But on reflection we looked at the tour, and at the route, and so we jumped aboard. Picked up in the centre quay area and made its way through the streets. Amazing views near the m Readymoney Cove area and just so interesting. Helped us get our bearings and make a mental note of places we would visit later in our stay.
Super fun informative way to spend an afternoon. Loved it and highly recommend.
Thanks and we would definitely do it again when next in Fowey.

Very informative and a good insight of fowey. Saw lots of interesting things. The trip was very pleasant and a lovely addition to our visit

This was such an easy way to see the main sights of Fowey and learn some of the history of the town. Driver Brian negotiates the tight corners and narrow streets seemingly easily whilst Gill told us some history of the buildings we saw in this very old fishing village. It was lovely to see the children waving at passers by and everyone seemed so friendly and cheerful. Also as there are screens between each of the carriages it was very COVID secure. Would definitely recommend this as the best way to see Fowey.

Great way to see the places in Fowey you wouldn't normally get to. A nice comfortable 20 minutes not being overly bombarded with information. Extremely informative guide and safe driving around foweys narrow streets. Great fun and would thoroughly recommend. Good value for money.

We have been coming to Fowey for many years and never miss a trip on this tour. It's great fun and we enjoy it every time, especially as we have learnt some of the driver's standard jokes and beat him to it! The grandchildren love it too, waving at everybody as we go along the high street and getting them to wave back. Of course we know all the sites to see now but nothing spoils the enjoyment. Don't miss it!

Unfortunately we are unable to operate safely this season as our lovely Town of Fowey has very narrow streets.

For just £5 each, it’s a wonderful and very entertaining tour of Fowey. The lady tour guide will answer any questions but her knowledge of the good, interesting and completely barmy is wonderful. Do this tour as soon as you get to Fowey, it’s a great way of knowing what you need to visit as well.

yes there are some completely barmy things in Fowey as well as some really fascinating things. Add this to the spectacular views and this is what makes our tour so special. Thanks for your review

For £5 you get a 25 minute ride around town with informative and interesting commentary. Highly recommended.

This train ride was brilliant, loads of information on history told to us by a lovely lady tour guide. Well worth going on takes you around all the hilly parts of fowey . Well done guys x and the dog loved it too x

is this a review for Fowey Town Tour (a sightseeing tour with full commentary) or the town bus which is a shuttle service from the car park to the town?

You can guarantee you get to see the best there is, on tours like these, so always a good thing for a newcomer to do. How on earth the Land Rover copes, I have no idea but it does. A safe and friendly tour, a few new facts and entertaining anecdotes. Downside? The diesel(?) fumes as you are towed. Good value for money despite this, though.

I am glad you enjoyed your tour. You shouldn’t have been able to smell any fumes from the Landrover as the exhaust is redirected and we use special additives and filters to be on the safe side. There are however rare occasions when we are following vehicles which are smelly but we do our best to keep as far away from these as we can

It is £5 per adult. £3.50 for children over 5 and £16 per family. However we are only operating Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri during May this year

I am sorry but my answer does not seem to have been posted? The road train leaves the Town Quay at 12noon on Sundays and 1100 very other day, weather permitting, and then every 45 mins or so.
We operate from 1st May to 30th September .

Fowey Town Tour Land Train operates from the Fowey Town Quay from 1st May until 30th September.
We cannot operate all year as the Fowey Town Quay is a Car Park from 1st October to 30th April and takes up all the space.
