We visited Puzzlescape Dereham yesterday and what a great time we had. We really knew very little about escape rooms but the staff were very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. We were put into a room to find the clues and work out how to get out. Considering we were in our sixties we were like children again laughing, joking and working together to find the clues ( I must admit we did need a little help now and again 😂). Time flew by and we loved every minute of it and will definitely do it again. Thank you to the staff who laughed and joked with us afterwards and made our day.

Good escape room, lots of thought given to the clues and we were kept busy throughout.
As a team of two we did need the clues to steer us in the right direction.
The downside to our experience came at the beginning when we arrived a few minutes late due to difficulties finding parking over one hour, the room is located in central Dereham with only short stay parking around.
We had driven for over an hour and needed to use the toilet prior to entering the escape room, the lady was clearly unimpressed by our request, this started the experience off badly.
We appreciated we would lose time for starting late, however, we didn’t expect such a poor reception.

Totally brilliant escape room. Extremely well designed. It kept us (2 bright adults) busy for a full hour, using all sorts of logic and different skills. Highly recommended. Lovely people too!

A group of 3 -the Invincibles. We completed the Sleight of Hand room. Some great puzzles and thinking needed. We have done quite a few escape rooms but not always as this group of 3. There were many new challenges that we had not come across before. Great fun and well thought out room. We loved it and got out with 3 seconds to spare. Will definitely return to attempt more of the rooms here.

We were a family group of 9 and tackled diamond hunt and sleight of hand escaping...just! We all really enjoyed our time at puzzlescape.

Escaped the Edge the Explorer room recently, and have done all 4 escape rooms at Puzzlescape in the past.
I've always done them in a team of 2, and escaped in the nick of time! I love the variety and challenge of these well refined, innovative rooms which start gently and get tough towards the end! The different rooms present a range of options (searching/thinking/physical/mixed) so do be sure to speak to the friendly staff when choosing which room. I recommend The Diamond Hunt to beginners, it's a great entry!
I've done over 20 escape rooms and Puzzlescape genuinely stands at the top of those available in East Anglia in terms of overall fun, consistent challenge rating of puzzles, super-friendly staff, and professional finish (everything is sturdy and safe, it's obvious what is and isn't in-game).
I would Highly recommend them to anybody looking for a fun day out!

What a fantastic day we have had doing the three remaining rooms... Diamond hunt, sleight of hand and magnesis. The host was wonderful at explaining and introducing the rooms. The rooms themselves were challenging and great fun!! Loved them all!! So many great game mechanics in each of the rooms, very well thought out puzzles and lots for everyone and every type of gamer/puzzler!! Thoroughly recommend giving them all a go x

We had a wonderful experience at Puzzlescape. Worth every bit of the money spent. Very clean place. The staff was friendly and very informative. Had such a fun time. Will be going back.

Great welcome from the host, we couldn't wait to get stuck into the room! We done the hardest room (Edgar the explorer) which we were told has only a 40% chance of getting out so far... No pressure then! Unfortunately we just missed out. There were some great game mechanics used, a few things that were new to us. We felt just a few of the things could have done with a bit more explanation, as there's no way to figure it out by yourself. (Don't want to say too much but the turn handle part).
All in all we loved it, very well themed and alot of fun! Can't wait to go try out their other rooms!!
