I attended the one day beginner course with my mum and sister and we had a fab day! The workshop, tools and Jonathan were excellent.
Jonathan is a great and patient teacher and you leave the workshop with some beautiful handmade jewellery.
I would recommend to anyone for a crafty day out or to give the experience as a gift!

One day course in Droitwich (no longer on the boat!) today with 2 others. This one day course was very enjoyable and we all accomplished a lot in the time available working with both copper and silver. Jonathan adapted what he showed us to fit our ideas and level of previous experience. Welcoming and approachable with any questions.

We (5 friends) booked this to celebrate a birthday. We had the best day and made some beautiful jewellery. Jonathan is a wonderful teacher and a fabulous host. The day flew by as we had so much fun. We learned a lot of techniques and Jonathan made sure we all knew what we were doing. He also kept the tea and cakes flowing. Can’t recommend this highly enough.

I booked this as an 80th birthday present for my Mum and we had the most wonderful Mother daughter day!
Jonathan is not only a great teacher, but a fabulous host too! He is patient and clearly very skilled as a teacher, as explained all the different making processes brilliantly. You spend the morning learning different skills with copper, before creating a piece of personal jewellery in the afternoon with silver.
Mum and I both made items of jewellery that we are very proud of and the day flew by!!
I highly recommend Jonathan, as the experience was unique and very rewarding! He also bakes delicious cake!!!!!

I chose to make a silver bangle on this course, which turned out beautifully and has been much admired by everyone. Jonathan was an excellent and patient teacher especially as this was also his first time in a new "Covid friendly" environment. I would definitely recommend this for a day out, or as a present for someone (buy two and go along yourself as well, you'll love it!)

i spent a lovely day with 2 friends making unique pieces of silver jewellery.Johnathan is patient and gives enough help when its needed.We all enjoyed the day,its very recomended!

My mum bought me a voucher for this course for my birthday as it is something completely different and she knew I would enjoy it. I love jewellery so it was brilliant to be able to learn how to make something and also to be able to keep the finished product! Jonathan is a fantastic teacher and he is very knowledgeable. Jonathan was helpful and he let me decide what I wanted to make and was able to give advice on how the best way would be for me to make my ring. The class I attended was Jonathan’s first one since lockdown but it was as if he hadn’t been away from teaching as he was so confident and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. I would definitely recommend Jonathan as a teacher and the course as a very satisfying experience and a lovely day out, I would love to do another one soon :)

What a great day out on the silver jewellery boat. I went with my friend and we had the best day making our silver pendants. Jonathan was very informative and was patient with us showing us how to do everything. We both came away delighted with our made jewellery.

We had a wonderful time on the Silver Jewellery Boat! We thoroughly enjoyed making our pieces of jewellery, along with learning lots of new skills. Jonathan is an exceptional host and incredibly welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

I bought a day's course to make silver stacking rings for my daughters and myself for a Christmas present, it was well worth the money. We had a fabulous day, very relaxed atmosphere, Jonathan doesn't rush you at all, he is an amazing teacher, very patient and thorough, and he makes the best Victoria sponge cake!
We all came away with a copper key ring which we practiced on plus as many copper and silver stacking rings that we could make. I have told everyone how wonderful the day was and what a wonderfully peaceful location it is on a barge bobbing on the canal.
Thank you Jonathan for getting me interested in making my own jewellery, I even bought the starter kit! I will be back to make some more!
