very helpful and friendly staff, a nice sized library with a good selection of books, also has seating areas to sit and read if you want

On holiday in the area and visited the library, mostly to see the children's selection. Incredibly helpful staff, offered the children many ideas of new books to read. Gave me the address of two websites that would also help my children to choose books. Fantastic service.

Nice small library adjacent located between the Visitor Information Centre and Bude Castle. Limited range of books but reading areas and friendly staff!

Bude library is warm (friendly and temperature!) and welcoming. It's not very big but provides a range of books and
media to take out, as well as a small play area. There are also free-to-read newspapers.

No matter what the question is there is someone on the staff who can get the answer.Great book ordering service and holiday makers are accommodated too. Was so pleased for my guests.

I used this library for the sake of using the Internet.
I wanted to charge my phone while there,
But I was told I had to pay a fee to cover the cos5 of electricity,!!!
Additionally I was expected to fill out a theee page form in order to charge my phone,
Apparently to absolve the library from any claim for damage.
While using the Internet I was aware that the mdfle aged man sat at the next terminal was watching soft porn in the quise of a pop video. Yuk!
This same man later accosted me in the library carpark, as he had observed me putting my library card away in a neck pouch.
Obviously he assumed I was carrying a large amount of cash n this pouch.
On reflection I wish i had taken assertive action against this obnoxious individual.
