We booked our family ticket online, very easy and beneficial to pick your arrival time, well worth the £42 for a family ticket, 2 adults and 2 children.
There is a great variety of animals, goats, sheep, highland cattle, wallabies, donkeys etc,
There is a timetable of events which is useful to check on arrival including lamb feeding and the entertaining sheep racing.
The petting areas are great for the children with the chicks and the rabbit areas excellent to sit and have a hold. There also great hand washing areas throughout the farm for after feeding the animals, don’t forget to buy you food at the shop on the way in for £1 a bag.
There are plenty of activities and play areas suitable for different ages and a great soft play area inside the cafe, the cafe also has good toilet facilities.
The tractor ride and the barrel train were the favourites for our twin 3 year old grandsons.
A great day out for all the family in a friendly and clean environment.

Lovely day out for my little boy. We had such a fantastic day, my little boy loved the mix of activities and animals. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Everything is clean, animals are well looked after. Genuinely one of the nicest days out we had over the summer holidays and will be back again very soon I am sure.

Absolutely brilliant place the kids aged 10, 7and 3 had a fantastic day so much to do animal so well looked after ,clean and tidy plenty of hand washing facilities friendly and helpful staff well done all at Hall hill farm highly recommend something for all ages

A lovely five hours spent here on a cloudy day. At just over £40 for a family ticket, I thought it was very good value for money compared to similar days out.
My children particularly loved the bouncy pillows, soft play and various slides. I’d say these attractions are best for under 10s. We all enjoyed the animal cuddles!
Staff were all absolutely lovely and the gift shop was reasonably priced. The whole place felt clean and well maintained with plentiful toilets and hand washing facilities.
The only small issue I had was sometimes bigger children/teens would take over an area (eg the bouncy pillow) throwing the rubber bits at each other and pushing each other around with little regard for smaller children - it’s a shame some other parents can’t keep a bit of an eye on their big kids.
Regardless, I’m sure we will return!

Years ago, the FB algorithm introduced me to farmer Richard of Hall Hill Farm. In his daily videos, we admire the scenery, laugh at the antics of the goats, and learn what it takes to manage a farm and breeding program. Doing so in person was an absolute delight. As a vet, I can attest to their impeccable standards for animal welfare. Bonus points for gorgeous views, and for bringing that out the little boy in each of our teens.

I've been to a few of these sorts of places before, but this is one of the better ones.
For a start, its got a nice outlook with views across to the rolling hills opposite.
Its got the animal feeding and petting, a good play area, and also some interesting features like the sheep racing, the tubing on the slides, the wooden track sledging etc.
Worth coming with young kids, in fact our 8 year old loved it and even our 10 year old was sufficiently entertained.

Visited on a rainy day with elderly parents and teenager children. I was so impressed, beautifully kept farm and animals, lots of timed activities to get involved in and very friendly staff. Wish we lived closer and were able to visit more often!

After following the farm on Facebook since a few years, we decided that it’s time to see Hall Hill Farm with our own eyes. It was a great day out, the team is so friendly and welcoming, the farm is clean and all the animals can be seen up close, some can be fed and stroked. Plenty to do for young children but even for adults, feeding lambs and Highland Cows is enjoyable. Farmer Richard and his team made us feel very welcome. I have nothing negative to say and would definitely recommend a visit.

We originally came just to see the highlands but we quickly fell in love with all the other animals too.
My daughter is 14 so too old for the play areas but these looked great for the younger children.
We fed goats, sheep, donkeys, ponies and alpacas,
My daughter held a chick and fed a lamb.
We then went for something quick to eat. We were served quickly and the food was with us quick too, it was nice to see that the food and drinks here weren’t overpriced. Most places are these days.
We had a really lovely day.

About an hour, doesn't take us along but i just have a girlfriend obsessed with chicks and lambs. No kids etc.
There's chicks, rabbits, sheep and lamb, pigs, goats, alpaca, donkeys, birds, Wallabies, small horses.

Hi, I planned to go tomorrow good Friday, however need to change, if I have an online ticket which never asked for a date, can I just go on Saturday or do I have to call the farm??? Any advice greatly received.

We do have facilities for that age, with high chairs, baby changing and an under 3’s play area.
We do advise that under 3’s do not touch the animals as they may put fingers in their mouth, but I am sure they would still enjoy a visit.

Do you allow a well behaved dog on a lead in general areas?? Our local farm attraction does, but can't see anything about dogs on your website.

We do have both disabled and accessible toilets, and access to most areas except the tractor ride. The farmyard is tarmac, but some of the paths are gravel and on a slight incline, other areas are grass. We currently offer disabled visitors free entry for a carer to accompany them.
