Michelle and the team were very professional, warm welcome, and a fantastic pie buffet. Originally dealt with Jo, who gave us great advice on setting up the room for a party. Nothing seemed to much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend

What a great venue for a family celebration. Tastefully decorated for Christmas with little additional decoration required to make the room feel very special. What a warm welcome we were provided by Michelle and her team. Very proficient bar service with glasses regularly cleared from tables. Everyone made comment about the room and the attentiveness of the staff which contributed to us all having a wonderful night. Definitely a gem of a venue. Hope to be back!

The room is wonderful, really spectacular ceiling, wood panelling and with the old magistrate's bench as a focal point...and on a cold and windy night the big room was still wonderfully warm. Originally spoke to Jo who was very friendly and helpful with booking arrangements.
Michelle was excellent during the run up to our party, when we had a problem outside their control. She was extremely very helpful, nothing too much trouble and helped us sort our problem. Michelle greeted us on the night and our guests commented how friendly she was a true asset to the team.
Barstaff and their management of our buffet were also first class.
A great party in a really special and unique venue ! Well done to The Team.

Great venue. My son had an injury whilst dancing and they were fantastic . So attentive and went above and beyond … the staff are brilliant. The room is great, bar has a greats selection of drinks and staff are lovely well done!

An amazing venue for our daughter’s 18th. Beautiful room, attentive staff, good quality buffet and value for money, spotless toilets. Everyone had a great time, would highly recommend this venue.

What an amazing venue! We originally booked the courtroom through Jo, the sales manager, approximately 18 months ago, just to only wanting to have my 70th birthday party on the 5th of October 2024.
We dressed the room, which is beautiful on its own, with our own decorations. We also hired a 6 piece band called On Demand, which was fantastic. We had our own playlist, which was played through the old courts' ipad between the band playing instead of hiring a DJ.
A big thank you goes to the friendly Staff Nicole, Emily and Kristie, you were all fantastic.
The biggest thank you to Michelle, she was an absolute star, She went above and beyond to make sure my special night went just right.
Michelle clearly loves her job! Her smile and zest were infectious . Keep up the good work!!

We used the old courts for my son’s christening and the whole thing has been perfect from start to finish! I met with Jo earlier in the year to look around the venue and the booking process was made easy thanks to Jo and the team. On the day, Michelle and the bar staff couldn’t have done enough for us. Thanks again for making our day perfect!

Attended a baby shower on Saturday was a great place and very well presented.
Brooklyn Defender was my drink choice and I tried a few ciders.
Would have stayed for the live my music but had plans, will return soon

Held my daughters baby shower here on the 21st September, booked this through Jo the sales manager. It was a fantastic day. This bar is perfect for small to medium gatherings and we hired a acoustic guitarist and singer to perform.
I dressed the room with my own decor, and family and friends all commented what a hidden gem this bar is.
Phil made some amazing mocktails and cocktails and provided a great service.

Hi,
The Venue for this performance is the Grand Vault which is a standing room only event. We can however provide seating if it is required for accessibility.
If you can call the Box Office on 01942834747 Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm they will be able to arrange this for you.

i am visiting by car. where is the best place to park. Car Park On street ?

Hi Linda,
There is on street parking on Crawford Street immediately outside the building. It is free after 5.30pm on the right hand side of the street and after 6.30pm on the left side of the street.
There is a Car Park on Dorning Street which is 100 Yards away which is £3 for all day, and free after 5pm.
