Quieter than Goodrington Sands
Clean water
Plenty of parking
Two modern cafes with a range of food and drink. Both have outside seating areas with views of the beach.
Overlooked by hills and fields.
The steam train regularly travels past.
Water sport hire.
We loved our three visits to Broadsands during our weeks holiday.

Perfect beach for families we hired a SUP, went swimming, played rounders , played football, dug sand castles and had a pint from the very nice cafe!

The best beach in the area with a gently sloping, smooth sandy beach making access to the water very easy. The water sports centre has everything you could need for a great day on the beach, kayaking, SUPs or simply relaxing on the sand (deck chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas). Changing rooms and hot showers are also available.

Stingiest ice cream scoop you'll ever see at the snack shack at the entrance to the beach - the scoop didn't even touch the sides of the little tub. You might be lucky and find the bloke is behind the counter - he does reasonable portions. But if it's the tall, mean-spitited woman serving go for a Magnum or something else pre-packaged.

Lovely clean beach, dog friendly sept - April, good cafe with seating, large car park and simple to access. Nice walks from the car park to other beaches nearby

First time visiting this beach and loved it. Glorious sweeping sand, great for dog walking. A gentle shelving beach so good for paddling and swimming and a lovely steam train running along the edge and over a beautiful bridge you drive under on entry. Perfect

Lovely beach edged with traditional beach huts. A very English beach theme.
Great expanse of lovely sandy beach when the tide is out. You can go out quite far before you are knee deep.
There isn’t a great amount of parking so I’m not sure what happens in the summer months.

This is a popular beach so expect to share it with lots of other people. However, it is stunning. There’s sand, there’s sea, there’s loos and two cafés plus a water sports hire. Parking is £2.70 for two hours. Keep an eye on the tide times as there isn’t much space at high tide.

Must vistit if you are down this way, it's a lovely beach for swimming, sups, kayaks or just a paddle.
