Myself and my partner came in today for some food, I had the homemade soup and some warm crusty bread and it was lovely, my partner is a big fan of pies and she knows a good pie from a bad pie, she was very happy with the chicken pie and loved the gravy, the head chef Leighton even came over to see if we had enjoyed our meals, a very nice man he told us the landlord made the pies himself, the staff were very nice too especially jack who didn’t charge me for my lime dash in my pint!

Just revisited the old manor as our first visit was very good last year
Found the staff very friendly and accommodating as my wife asked for something not on the menu. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a very good meal. PS make sure you ask for cheese and biscuits which was also not on the menu and you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped off here for some food with my partner and should have known straight away it would not be up to a high standard as the toilet conditions were dismal Had fish and chips for an early evening meal. The portion size was small and the food was cold. Wouldn't stop here again and wouldn't recommend it.
I also found the staff to be rude and they didn't seem to care at all at about the quality of guest experiences.

The old Manor is a warm and dog friendly pub. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. We eat there regularly and have never had a bad meal. Well worth a visit.

Went in Friday lunchtime and ordered a steak meal plus fish chips and mushy peas. What arrived was a minute portion of fish in a very greasy batter a few warmed up chips and a few french beans. We asked the waitress were the peas were and very snottily was told they had not got any peas mushy or otherwise. Why did she not ask if we wanted a alternative meal. After telling the waitress it was the worst meal I have ever had I accepted a refund and was then giving a bill for our order minus the fish and chips. We had paid when we ordered. Terrible service
