The site is awfull now if your a family with children there is nothing for them to do. The entertainment arcades and outdoor pool have all gone. We tried the new indoor pool but it wasnt the same. Total let down seems they've built new bar restaurant and indoor pool but not catered for children. Even the shop was empty kids went to get some sweets but not selling any. Really gone down hill.

Love the location of this site. Easy walk along the coastal path to Paignton and plenty of buses to Brixham and Torquay.
The caravan was nice, no complaints. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Parking wasn’t too far away from caravan.
Loved the outside pool but only got the chance to use it once as they closed it on the Saturday night even though the weather forecast was good and it was only 10th September.

Absolutely love this holiday Park all the staff were very friendly and helpful especially the entertainment staff. Would love to give a shout out to Jodie and Taylor four making my kids feel welcome and helping my young daughter come out of her shell. also to Jodie for going above and beyond normal duties and making all the family happy and feel included. only a couple of things we were not happy about one was the swimming pool being closed however that was due to having no lifeguard and the other is we all believed the toilets on site needed upgrading

I was at Waterside from 24 Sept to 8 Oct. It rained a lot but the staff helped brighten things up. Always warm friendly and helpful, without being over the top. Lizzie, Sue, Amanda and Julie deserve a mention in particular. It would be impossible to find better staff. I will be going there again, maybe not next year but 2023 and I hope they will still be there! There is so much to see in Paignton, a two week visit hardly covers it, with Torquay and Brixham on either side close by.. The steam train to Dartmouth goes past and makes a friendly sound that adds to the atmosphere. The SW path to Broadsnds is always a must. Steve J

My friend and I had a lovely caravan, just where we asked for, near the amenities ,only thing with Waterside, if you;re less mobile with no vehicle, the steep slope up to the main road is a disadvantage. Very convenient for public transport to Paignton one way or Brixham the other way .We booked half board, and found the meals very satisfactory, nothing to complain about. James was very obliging as were the cooks behind the scenes. The "shop " was disappointing, very sparse, just the essentials, milk etc . All in all, I feel the site could do with a facelift ,and apparently, this is likely to happen next year, probably give the Entertainment block and the Restaurant building 2 stars and the Reception has a lot of steps with no ramp, this really needs to be addressed in the re vamp. It was built in the '70's deep in an old quarry, therefore mobile reception leaves a lot to be desired. The Reception staff(Julie) was so helpful and her team very efficient, right from the word go, booking, information, followup and departure.......I would go again, this was my fourth visit, but don't expect a 4/5 star site at the moment. They are all working very well with what they have.

Stayed here a few times over past few years & I can’t believe how much this place has gone downhill! The entertainment staff are absolutely shocking especially Debbie who I don’t think smiled the whole time Of our stay didn’t even say hello to us or our children which is so strange for ‘entertainment!’ Staff! Buld a bear was £23 & was literally told to put stuffing inside it then guy tied back up with a cable tie took all of ten mins then that was it!!Girls behind bar are miserable & get orders wrong constantly prices are scandalous change machines never work when you ask could anybody put more change in your told NO you have to then spend £3 on a drink to get £1 coins for kids to use in arcades hugely understaffed ! Lifeguards around pool again miserable don’t look like they want to be their again no smiles no hello just a bunch of attitude the male lifeguard especially uniform has all fag burns in them filthy dirty. My 55 year old mother was stood by car park on FaceTime to her partner & was told by a MANAGER to stop loitering around by staff cars!! Shop on site is bare food in bar is disgusting & soo expensive the whole place is a shambles Devon & Paignton it’self is a gorgeous place but I would try a different holiday park I wouldn’t return here again unless things drastically change such a shame!!

Went here mid July and left a day or two early for aShocking service perverted management terrible over priced food badly prepared
The manager Rich kept messaging my gay 18 yo son on a dating app asking him to meet with him (I dread to think why )constantly when he is about mid 40s this explains why my son would not go in the clubhouse at all after the second night I only just found this out good job really because i now have seen red and because of his age authorities won’t do anything
I will never return here Paignton is a dump full of druggies and homeless people asking for change they probably wouldn’t stay in the dirty out dated accommodation either

Booked a gold caravan and got issued a silver (feels more like a bronze) shower cubicle is black, taps are almost falling off and it smells like a school does of around 100 children.
Toilet floor was filthy, stunk of stale pee and my cloth was black after cleaning it.
Paid £15 for VFAST Internet for the week which doesn't stay connected due to poor connection
Don't be conned like us! I know a gold caravan from a silver :(
Here to make memories with our grandson and will make the best of it, but the hygiene is not to our standards and the caravan is very disappointing

Hello we are thinking of going to waterside in a seaview caravan or lodge we are in our late 70s and have a few mobilty issues so where is the best place to stay on the park ? Right at the bottom on the flat ? How long does it take to walk up to the swimming pool ? Is it very steeo ?
