In an already quiet place like Douglas, the Thirsty Pigeon is a traditional place with a variety of beers on tap and reasonable prices. We didn't go on any of the nights that had live music or other events but we were able to see some sporting events and it seems like a very comfortable place.

Called in on the Sunday after the end of the 2023 TT; very welcoming staff, good beer, nice atmosphere and good eatery next door when you get peckish. When next on the isle will return.

This is a proper pub. Called for drimnks only and enjoyed what we had. Friendly locals and friendly staff too. Recommended.

Lovely staff, lovely beer, lovely place!

An absolute gem of a pub in central Douglas.
The owner was more than accommodating and even sorted some food out for us when they weren’t actually doing food.
The Oakham Citra and Jaipur were both excellent.
One of the best places for beer in Douglas
You have to try this place.

Popped in to watch the football and was slightly disappointed there was no food but the helpful bar staff offered the option of having a delivery from a local restaurant which was very good. Beer (Odin’s Oyster Stout) was superbly kept and in fact was so good I had to go in again later in the week. The stout was as good as before and the other Odin brew (their red ale Alfablot) was, if anything, even better.

Slightly put off by large screen showing football, but not a problem at all. No commentary - excellent music playing. Wonderfully kept beers from the Isle of Man Breweries. Hot, wonderfully crisp pork scratchings even at 3.30 pm. Excellent service from really helpful friendly staff. Well worth a visit whilst on the Island.

A locals local. Wonderful Atmosphere and helpful staff. Just of Town Centre and Business Centre. Good place to visit late afternoon
