Good choice of machines. Avoid the cave dwelling bandit gremlins dressed in red. They're miserable and don't have the mental capicity to help you anyway.

I visit Silcock's amusement arcade, regularly, on Sundays. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. The 2p slots, I so like and I have my favourite machine. Saving all my tickets for Christmas presents. The arcade is great for all the family.

went there for a couple days to southport, spent a couple hours in the arcades for the kids, wish we hadnt of bothered, we spent far to much money for nothing. we asked the staff for advice, they just laughed and walked away, we defintely will not be going back.

Arrived here for a bank holiday treat , good amounts of arcade machines ,kids loved it , went had a bite it eat in the cafe which was nice , friendly cafe staff , why charge for the toilet?? The amount of money customers actually put into your machines it's ridiculous, staff in the arcade all miserable and about as much use as a chocolate tea pot asked for help on the ticket machine and seemed like such a effort for them !

It's what you would expect really, did hear someone saying they were charging for the toilets which I don't agree with and a few machines were broken but seemed like the kids were enjoying it

Shocking that they charge to use the toilet. This is a basic human need and yet this place seems to capitalise on this! I wouldn't recommend this place

My son loved the arcade machines and the receipts instead of standard tokens. Lots to keep him assumed and lots of different games to chose from

Providing entertaining fun for more than a century, it’s a popular fixture near the lake. It being a sunny Saturday it was particularly busy.

Hadn’t been in an arcade for years so it was nice to be able to that in Southport. You don’t have to spend a fortune as a lot of the games are 2p and 10p slots. Definitely worth a visit.

Apart from the weather we had a great family day out. Maybe a small indoor arcade might be a good idea for cold and rainy days

That all depends on you and the age of the child, and whether the child can be trusted and what rides you go on My grandson is 3 so he only goes on the ones he can ride himself, if he want the faster on like the train, then granddad goes with him and you have to use 2 tokens.
