One of our favourite places to visit as a family. Hadn’t been in a while and didn’t disappoint. So much to do, we were there all day and still didn’t see some of the animals. Glad that there are now areas that are covered so we can eat our picnic outside regardless of the lovely Scottish weather! All the fairy lights make it almost magical. The animal talks are fascinating, and the staff always seem happy to answer the kids questions! Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic day at Blair Drummond Safari Park today.
There is so much to see and do.
My favourite part is the ants travelling along the plastic tubing, it's fascinating to watch them.
A big thank you to all the lovely staff, especially Tracy.
Tracy was professional, patient and friendly when we went on the Carousel and the train and really made our visit a trip to remember.

Great safari park with lots of play areas for the kids. Lots of food places and desserts.
Area is quite spaced out so alot of walking.
The only disadvantage is the wasps there’s hundreds! Totally ruined lunch as we couldn’t eat in piece without wasps sworming. Obviously I know this is hard to prevent at this time of year but maybe some more wasp catchers.

Thank you for your review. It sounds like you had a great day out at the Safari Park but we are sorry about the issues you had with wasps. Their activity is most evident in high summer, heading towards September. The eggs have hatched, and the young queens leave the nest to mate and find a suitable hibernation home before the winter. The workers are responsible for finding enough food for the hibernating queen, and this can trigger aggressive behaviour. We do our best to minimise the amount of wasps in the park but it is impossible to stop them. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon.

Not one to take the time to complain however the member of staff doing the giraffe talks last week needs some serious training on communication skills and in general being a decent human being.
I attended the park with my fiancée and two young daughters who absolutely love the giraffes. We attended the talk at 2:15 with ‘Lorna’ and I honestly cannot believe how rude she was. My girls were so excited to ask questions about the animals however whenever they would interrupt her to ask a question as 5 year olds do, she would rudely tell her to be quiet and roll her eyes at her. A five year old looking to ask questions about the animals gets met with that sort of attitude?! Disgusting. She was so upset and had to stay quiet for the rest of the ‘talk’ if you can even call it that. You could tell Lorna just wanted it over and done with and be out of there, she really is in the wrong profession. She did mention the new male giraffes coming but if this is how she behaves, we will unlikely not be able to see the new arrivals.

We had an absolutely fantastic day with our family of 4 (kids 6 and 2). Spent a full day here. There is a drive through safari which takes around 30 mins with the option to avoid the monkeys if you are precious about your car - though they didn't bother us. There is a great outdoor play area for the kids ( a section of this is covered by canopy should the weather be bad). Our 6 year old loved the dinosaur trail which has life size dinosaurs which move as you walk past them. There is a large picnic area which includes plenty of seating and outdoor BBQs. You can then walk around the park visiting the various animal enclosures including elephants, rhinos, giraffes, sea lions, penguins and gorillas. There are talks on a various times across the day where you can learn more about the animals.
There is a pocket money shop where everything is less than £5.
Great value for money. Didn't manage to cover everything in one day - will definitely be back

Visited here today unexpectedly after driving by it. A friend and I are currently visiting Glasgow from Ireland and came across the safari park while visiting Stirling Castle.
We decided to do the drive through safaris first and then do the rest on foot.
The rest of the visit went really well and we were very impressed with the setup. However!
We were very dismayed after entering the Lion drive through where a ranger seemed to feel the need to keep driving his pick up truck directly at all the lionesses in turn for absolutely no reason. They weren’t in anybody’s way, they weren’t bothering anyone. Most of them laying down trying to bask in the sun, as is practise in the wild when not hunting.
I have visited both South Africa and Masai Mara due to my love of wildlife , witnessing their natural behaviours and for the love of god, I cannot come up with a good reason as to why he felt the need to bully these creatures with his pick up truck. The Lions were in view to everyone and regardless if they weren’t , it wasn’t necessary.
If this behaviour is a regular occurrence, I couldn’t justify recommending this place to anyone.

We understand that certain moments during your visit left you with concerns. We want to assure you that the safety and well-being of our animals are of the utmost importance to us. The actions you observed with the pick-up truck and the lions were not random; they were carried out by an experienced keeper with a specific purpose. There are predefined instances when the lions need to be encouraged to move along, and this is always done to ensure the safety of both our lions and our guests.
We have reviewed the interaction in question through our CCTV footage and statements from our keepers, and we can confirm that the actions you witnessed were in line with established procedures. Our lions have been raised and trained from a young age to respond to the presence of the keeper's pick-up, and it is a routine and non-disruptive part of their daily lives.
We genuinely appreciate your concern for the well-being of the animals in our care, and we hope that this explanation has addressed some of your worries. We remain committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for both our visitors and our animal residents.

Had a great day with my wife and grandson on Sunday in the park the good weather was a bonus the only problem was with the food. We got some tacos from the fresh tacos takeaway that were freezing cold. The bbq pulled pork felt like the sauce had came straight out of the fridge. Very disappointing. Didn't waste an otherwise brilliant day.

Had a brilliant day on Sunday at the park with my grandson. The weather was brilliant which was a bonus and made the day more enjoyable. The only negative of the day was the food we got from fresh tacos. The bbq pulled pork tacos were cold it was as if the sauce was poured into the wrap straight from the fridge totally disappointing

You can do alot on foot. We didnt use a car to discover the park and we had great time and nice views of animals from platforms

Hi I suffer from panic anxiety when feel trapped is there someone who sits at drive through area that let's you straight into next section without having to be waiting on cars building up to get through how long would you wait at pass through area for gates to open

Hi, if you don't want to be stuck behind vehicles on the drive through then the best idea is to turn up early, its usually pretty free-flowing early.
